Turns out it wasn't a crack but part of the plastic cover/housing that slides over. I am not only fortunate enough to own a OneWheel, but to live in the town they reside in. I cruised by their amazing office and Julian took a look, adjusted the plastic strip and away I went....straight to the beach. Man I love this thing. Thank you Julian!
This is strange since future motion said yesterday we are all on version 3000 even the though there are the different numbers out there. Sounded very adimate that these are all 3000. If that's true not sure why the numbers are changing.
I'd think they would be working on a new firmware with bigger changes being 4000 while either leaving 3000 or making tiny tweaks to it for use until 4000 is ready. That would explain the incremental number increases until the 4000 announcement and release is made.
Definitely get something that can run the app. Without it, there is no way to check battery level.
Well apart from the power button, but not while riding. And not very accurate ofc, I've been riding without the app since day one. Had to borrow phones from co-workers to update and switch to extreme.
It definitely works, but I would love to have the app.
pretty sure the super aggressive pushback with mandatory power cycle is actually intended and probably a good thing, they want riders to realize they could destroy their board by overcharging and they want it to feel dramatically differnet than high speed pushback
