I put it on its side in the trunk with my bag of pads and helmet adjacent to hold it in place.

RE: If OW Only Went One Way, Would It Need a Footpad Sensor?
How many miles "experience" do you have on the OW?
RE: OneWheel Car Charger
Hey everybody, I have been doing some calling around and I'm putting together an order for OneWheel chargers that run off your car cigarette plug. They're $24.50 USD + shipping. After I get 50 orders, I'll call the manufacturer in China and get them made. These are being made by the same manufacturer that makes the official OneWheel charger that comes in the box.
But I suspect I will still make my own setup from a decent battery and the "solar charger".
RE: OW+ Will Not Charge
I am certainly not trying to minimize the inconvenience you guys are experiencing, but I think it is worth pointing out that most people who are not having trouble have not bothering posting as such on this forum.
In fact, most everyone who owns a OW or + has never seen this forum.
Of course, that doesn't change the fact that your unit isn't working. But, a potential user should consider the possibility that most units work just fine.
FYI, my Onewheel+ is working fine. Only 34 miles so far, but loving it.
RE: Anyone notice an adjustment to the app's speedometer?
Come on - don't help the engineers!
Engineer 1: We are seeing complaints of slightly lower speeds reported from telemetry compared to GPS numbers.
Engineer 2: New code is ready, we feel the problem is solved:
updated software start
I kid. This machine is completely amazing. I rode 5.95 miles today on my OW+ and loved every moment.
RE: A thought: post your OW+ shipping notifications w/ first two digits of order #?
Label created, tracking number received, 35 lbs.
Order # 837x, Gold edition.
RE: Almost destroyed my elbow and my neighbor's car, wtf?
I am not an experienced one wheel rider. Or an engineer.
I can absolutely see the value of an instant-kill switch, as discussed.
But unlike certain watercraft like PWC's and boats, I could see instant kill of a OW motor being potentially more actively dangerous for the rider, if inadvertently activated.
People with more knowledge than I might chime in.
