Is there any manufacture ho make treaded tire in this size.
Hoosier make it only slick version in this size.
Treaded version you can found in size 11.0x5.5-6 and 11.0x6.5-6 wich I have already.
Tape 3 pcs never cold foot warmer patch under the battery chase.
This keeps OW battery warmer and you can ride longer.
Old trick what we use also behind mobile phone when you are snowboarding in cold weather.
Phone battery will hold hole day even it's -20'C outside (´minimum use )
One patch hold around 5 hours, but you must stick 3 patch under your OW battery chase.
Looks that my doughter 8y capure my OW+
I must face fact that we need other OW our family....
Because it's winter now here in Finland, there is not so big hurry to order new board.
What you think, is there any possibility that FM puplish new OW verison in comming 6-7 month.
I know that nowbody can know that but even vild guess?
Here is some pictures this hoosier with "snow" tires.
All ho planing to do same!!
I buy hoosier 11.0x5.5-6 and add there 2.2mm spikes as you can see pictures.
First ride 15psi felt fine, but after that I try higher pressure because I read that somebody ride over 30psi this same tire.
30psi makes tire so much bigger that spikes start grind ow+ frame !!!
20psi is max tire pressure what you can use with 2.2mm spikes.
But after all 20psi feels perefct fo me.
Just change my orginal OW + tire to Hoosier 11.0x5.5-6 and add there spikes.
Hope this working little better in light snow and ice....
I liked to hear what kind tire pressure other riders use in this tire...
I put first 15PSI and test it only 100 meters, but must ride lot of more to see wich pressure is best for me.
When the streets are ice and snow there is lot of small bumps and because that I think pressure must me low, but let's see.
This new tire feel's hole difrent than orginal but I have feeling that I will not evere going back orginal tire.
