@cbr-954rr I will check my pressure. As for the cold... I do ride a lot in the cold right now but not for more than a mile and my board is always warm before I ride as I charge it in the house. Do you run a stock Vega? and at what PSI?

Has calibrating the battery for 48 hours worked for anyone?.. Anyone?
I'm noticing shorter range and I think maybe my battery is out of wack. I'm thinking about doing the 48 hr calibration but I'm curious if anyone else has had success with this?
I haven't seen anyone say yet, "Wow! my board is like new after leaving it plugged in for two days!"
RE: Riding in the cold
I've been riding here in Michigan in the cold for weeks. I have a short commute from where I park my car to the building I'm working in at the moment. I notice that sometimes I have a shorter range and other times not so much. I think it has to do with riding style or something. This morning I rode I think maybe .5 miles from my car to work and I was at 89% when I got there. This is right about 5 miles range. I'm not so sure the cold has anything to do with it because my board is always warm when I start my ride and I'm not out long enough for it to get really cold. Also, when my board was new I was riding in the cold and I was getting 7 mile all day long. Maybe I need to calibrate.
RE: Have you done any customization or any modification? Post pictures!
@ow-miami Looks good! What kind of grip tape did you use?
RE: Won't charge. Won't power up. Flashing...
I was having a similar problem and I thought my Wheel was defective. @cactvs try this..
When you charge your OW, never plug the charger into the A/C first. Plug the XLR connecter first into the OW then plug the charger into the A/C outlet. Also make sure the green light on the charger is out for at least 30 seconds before you plug it in to your board. For example, if you got back from a ride and left your charger plugged in to the wall while you were away.. You would unplug it for 30 seconds before connecting it to your board.
My board was acting crazy until I used this method to charge it. It was also giving me battery gauge errors, wouldn't charge and the lights wouldn't turn off. I was even hearing a pop when I would plug it in.
Hope this helps!
RE: Plus disengages suddenly/footpad sensor error
@toddfree I really wouldn't care about a random warning except I'm a little concerned about a nose dive at 19mph because OW thinks I got off. That would suck.
Also, I asked tech support about this and they said that there is a sensor pad test you can perform. Use the app to see if its working as @skyman88 said, or you can do this more physical test..
Put the OW in front of a wall at its resting position with the headlights facing the wall. Turn the power on and put your finger tips on the back pad and one finger on each of the front sensor areas. The lights get bright as you should see in the reflection in the wall. Take one finger off one of the sensors in the front and the lights should get dim again. Put both fingers back on and it should get bright again. Then take the other finger off the second front sensor and it should get dim again. This, according to them, tells you if the sensors are working properly.
They also informed me that cold temperatures affect the sensors and make them malfunction. I told her I'm from Michigan and thats ten months of our year so I'll have to take my chances! HA!
Battery Regen from carving on a flat surface?
I just rode my OW+ for 20 min around the convention center where I'm working and it kept giving me regen warnings because I was over 99% on my battery. I don't understand how this is possible because its all a flat surface with no hills. I was carving pretty much the whole time so I'm wondering if its regenerating the battery from that? If it is, thats crazy... I was creating more energy than I was using on a flat surface. Anyone else seen this?
