@owpete for the last problem, if the board is too wobbly, relax. Don't try to over correct the board just move the board in the way you want it to move, I'm 17 and have been riding the first One Wheel since it's release. When you over correct the board, it wants to then correct itself and move under you. Then you correct it and then it reverberates in this frequency, if you want some tips ride on a rooty trail nearby. It is super technical and it strengthens your ankles, along with your connection to the board.
This is really true. In flying, it's called PIO - pilot induced oscillations.
@nicktulloh the gyros are embedded in microchips and definitely don’t make noise. The noise heard is the 100% normal chatter of a brushless DC motor making torque at low RPM
So it's not actually a gyro? They are motion sensors.
I just got my one-wheel plus and it makes a moderate grinding noise when engaged but stopped. As if there's something spinning in there when it's completely stopped. Anyone else have this problem?
something spinning like..... a gyro?
@groovyruvy exactly. Anyone making excuses for subpar service is lacking in standards. When you pay for something it's expected to be functioning properly. If it doesn't function properly expedited measures must be taken by the company to fix it. BTW I can assure you the owner became a millionaire many times over very quickly, and continues to grow exponentially as would be expected because he's obviously intelligent and has common sense.
I assume the first part
after BTW is a joke .... right?
