  I mean, let's not overthink this. Why not a physical key to turn where the button is now? Or how about a small hole straight through somewhere, basically just big enough to accommodate a kryptonite-style lock through the board?

  your post is very hazy on details but if you allowed a test ride its not stolen you gave possession to the test rider it's like loaning your car and providing the keys. You made a huge tactical error you should never allow test rides unless you are holding payment in full. I suggest you move on and put this behind you because you gave the board away it wasn't stolen you will never be able to get it back even if you find it. if they get hurt on it you might even get sued

  @Franko There has to be some pretty lame catch to that. I can't imagine they would honour the $1000 without a fight. That said putting any tracker on a board seems like a solid choice for built up areas where it's likely to get pinged if lost/stolen.

  @samir I ride now at around 23 psi on dirt and 30 psi on pavement (240 lbs weight). The normal guide is 10% of body weight but as your control improves you can add more psi for better range..

  @walkingsucksnow I’ve got almost a 1,000 miles of riding in Rode 6 miles in the woods today and my back foot was killing I started riding with zero experience had never even ridden a skateboard I learned natural foot and didn’t bother learn to ride goofy foot, biggest regret ever. Switching mid ride would solved a lot of problems. I know I should just relearn but just don’t want to be a beginner again If I run before my ride it definitely hurts worse Carving more helps and I find delirium is better on my feet than mission Anyway, sore feet riding one of the most fun devices ever made is a 1st world problem Hop off your board stomp your foot a few times and ride on Cheers

That's a pretty old school idea given how you could get all the energy you need from modern battery cells with less weight and much less danger of fire potentially. Cool idea though! I would like to see it attempted
