  This is an absolutely awesome product! I completely understand that we ALL want it now!! But I would rather leave FM be and let them make a quality attention to detail to each and everyones board. I want a quality product and am willing to be patient, ordered a 2nd board yesterday "take your time guys and do it right 😃"

  Yeah, really. I'm sorry you're having an uncommonly bad experience, but half of my new post notifications are you reposting the same complaint. And you're complaining in threads where most of the people reading them have had great experiences and are really loving their OneWheels.

  It's been raining since I got mine (just 5 days). It's hardly like the videos of the beach in Florida or the Santa Monica boardwalk, but I've been riding in parkades, a factory, out in the rain, the basement - wherever I can. I put my 12 and 14 year-old daughters on it as soon as I got it home, and they picked it up instantly. Now my wife is saying I should get 2 more. I haven't tried the dog with it yet, but might give it a go tomorrow, depending on the rain.

  Well I had UPS date of 1 day shipping since I am close to their factory. Of course it didn't happen. Took 3 days. Messed up part UPS kept showing it was out for delivery and then change it to delay (no further info). In any case, about FM's shipping. I agree that they should change estimated shipping times as they change. Being a small company, I get they don't control their supply chain so things change from what they were told would happen. However, I think they should update everyone. That being said, it does look like they have moved back to the 6-8 week delivery based on what others have said and my contact with them.

  It seems we may have a few first-time early adopters who are not be used to the drama that is the bleeding edge of tech. It is frustrating to say the last as I love instant gratification as much as anyone. However, as I've mentioned in another thread, graded against the other kickstarters and startups from which I have received products, FM is far and away the best. There are lots of areas in which they can improve, but IMHO many of you are starting with unrealistic expectations. A small 12-person company using many bespoke components from various suppliers is going to have supply chain issues. Anyone buying into the OW family and expecting Amazon-like turnaround times and pinpoint shipment estimates (which I do LOVE) is either uninformed or naive IMHO. It is your prerogative to complain and predict their imminent downfall. I just disagree with your premise and your predictions.

  @wheelking I'm having my Onewheel and fender shipped to my wife's office, so she could actually play this same trick on me, but I think she knows better. She knows I'd probably have a heart attack.

  I'm guessing there are huge production fluctuations still while they work out the kinks between supplier issues and internal production issues. If they have to ship back a whole supply of parts to get fixed that would halt everything and I'd bet that has happened. Also in the past I think the have found a flaw or a better way of doing something and they go and update all boards on hand even if completed. Hopefully most of the trials are behind them. It will be a great day when they have units in stock ready to ship.

  @rainynite they both sorta balance out £850 for the board (assuming no bidding war) and 500 + excluding hidden fees meets a round total of £1400 for the board direct from fm
