Taking a look back at the OW journey (old posts). Great to see the product evolution and that the forum is still a solid place to connect. So looking forward to the arrival of my XR from RiverBound Sports. Keep up the great work FM team...
Hm, thanks man for the swift reply. I'm ok for now in terms of my onewheels being operational but had hoped a European center would offer accessories--and thus lower or no shipping cost.. As you indicate: we'll have to be patient--and pay..
The bms is only protects for over charging and balancing of the cells. The A123 26650 cellsinside the Onewheel have a max charge rate of 10c which translate to 20amps? The more amps you try to push into the cell more energy is wasted. Doubling the amps only saves like 50% of the time.
The controller and battery box are sealed with a closed-cell foam gasket which is not glued, and they also have vents. The vents are made of gore-tex like material that will repel water that is splashed onto it. However, the vents can't withstand water under pressure, which would happen if it is submerged. The gasket also can leak if enough pressure is applied. The vents are protected from direct water impact by the bumpers, so you should be absolutely fine spraying your board from all angles, riding through puddles, etc., but just don't play chicken with waves which could wash over your board.
It's no problem at all. You can even default one board to auto-sync when it recognizes the board is nearby. Naturally you can only auto-sync to one board.
To disconnect your connection on the board you are currently connected to, go to App Settings and scroll down to the Disconnect button. Then you can go back to My Boards and select the next board you want to connect to.
