We did a little more strength and pressure testing over the weekend and ran over an ABS+ test unit with our 3,000 lb. SUV. https://youtu.be/tJXrIPvkgdA

@capodeltoro said in No pushback in Mission mode = road rash all over my body after nosedive @23mph: @scotterer I can guarantee you one thing. Once you nosedive once or twice you will have a whole new respect and appreciation for your OW. You find that sweet spot and just enjoy the ride. Every nosedive I hear about (and those I took) were from being a brand new rider. With experience you learn to FEEL what it can and can’t do. That's for sure...since my nosedive I rarely experience push back anymore. I've got a much more natural sense for the limits of the board and its (and my own) comfort zone. Pushing the board to anything above 18mph is just asking to be tossed

I get asked a lot... Is it dangerous? It looks dangerous? Your wearing all that gear? I'm wearing standard roller blading pads it's really not all that... I don't see people flipping out about people the dangers of rollerblading. You don't wear the seatbelt in your car for your driving you wear it for the other drivers on the road... The known unknowns. Regardless of the above, there is not much seperating you and the road at high speed on a OW and as opposed to a bicycle there is a computer intermediary that has some control and decision making and without any notice in the equation, so as opposed to when I first learned, I actually wear more pads now.. Backwards I know, but I am more daring and travel at faster speeds. Crash less but, if/ when I do, it will likely be more spectacular and throwing on some elbow pads really no big deal. That's my philosophy... :)

This has happened to me 3 times; on asphalt. As far as I can tell, it has to do with weight distribution. I've figured out at this point. Unfortunately, I now know what it feels like to jump out of a moving car at 15 miles an hour. Ouch!
