Odometer Total Miles...how many do you have?
-
I only usually keep two at a time (I have two now). I bought and sold when I felt like it. Its getting more difficult now that you can get them in a week from OW so I don't really sell anymore. I made a few bucks and made some people happy. Good times... Two is good as my wife wants to have one to ride with me ;) @dcosmos

I really wonder why FM didn't put the lifetime odometer on their app...I'm digging the one @kwatts created for Android
-
Could someone help me find this spoken of app by @kwatts ? Second time now hearing about it and I've been seeing everyone post their lifetime mileage and I'm jelly
-
@kbman just go in the Android store and search for powheel :-)
-
@Tartopom then what?
-
Here's what I was looking for someone to say:
pOWTools
Search that, anyone else
-
I've got five boards now that I alternate but my original board has almost a thousand miles.
-
@kbman you need to be running at least Android 5.0(I think that's the minimum)
-
@kbman I had to replace the tire on my first board around 1k miles. Now that replacement tire is getting fairly close to needing to be replaced.
I sold my second board when it was about halfway through it's tire.

From december 2015 until now
-
@fiberbiker I have about the same miles, got mine last week of march of this year.
-
141 miles or 226.9 kilometers (I just added a metric option to the app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.kwatts.powtools)

So I bought an android device, in part so I could try out @kwatts app. But hitting scan doesn't seem to ever find my board. I've tried doing "forget device" on my iPhone, as well as disabling BT on my iphone.
Any ideas why I can't connect and/or what else I might try?
FWIW, this is the device I purchased: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F69RDMW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

@nautiboy I have the same problem, turning the OW off then back on again solves it sometimes.
360 miles last time I checked
-
@No Thanks, I already tried that a bunch of times (as an engineer, that's usually the first thing we try ;-) ). I've tried doing it while it was connected to charger, while it was not connected to charger, after turning the board on in the "wrong position" (leaned against wall), as well as in the correct position (on ground). I've tried starting the scan before turning on the OW and then turning on OW. I've tried starting the scan after the OW was already on. I've tried turning BT on/off on android. I've tried powering down and powering up the android device. So far no joy.
I'm wondering if maybe it's a BT version/feature issue on the android?

Riding just under 2 months.
233mi.

Id have a guess at mine somewhere around 100km

@nautiboy What type of device do you have and what version of Android (lollipop, marshmallow, etc). Some older devices don't seem to play well or work with the low energy bluetooth that is used by the Onewheel. In the status screen (at the bottom) you should see it looking and finding other BLE (low energy) devices. If not, then ... sorry man. I tried to limit the app to only show on mobile devices that support BLE but some may of slipped through.

@kwatts Thanks for the response. The device was posted earlier ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01F69RDMW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ) lollipop 5.1.1. I don't have other bluetooth devices around right now for it to find, but the scan shows it looking for devices.
