honestly i ride in this

Side note I didnt buy them with the intent of riding in them it just worked out that and life has been
-
I found that it was easier especially on ruff terrain to have more flexibility. I tried my lebron Hightops. My ankles were not strong when I first started.... But, I now prefer the freedom....
-
@Dark_Knight my position is one of finding what works best for your personal riding style. Those are some tough boots and look like they should stick nicely to the board. Also I bet small rocks have a hard time getting in. ;-)
-
@LidPhones Yea i havent had any problems with rocks and or water however as a person who tends to adjust their feet alot these boots can be kinda hard in that aspect.
-
@westcoastr NIKE SB's should arrive today. I hope to have a video review posted once I get a 4 mile ride in to see how they feel.
-
Nike SBs did not arrive yet.... Hopefully today. I really am not a fan of the UPS sure post service. Once it passes to the USPS you have no idea of the ETA...
-
you ordered them from the nike site? @LidPhones
-
@Dark_Knight No. I ordered from the link to Sports Authority shared by @sonny123 above in this post.
-
Got them. They look great and seem to have a good grippy bottom. Review of fit and function will be posted after a few rides.
-
vans for me are the best!
-
@LidPhones I love how Nike's SB line are the only one's in turquoise colored boxes vs. orange. It makes them so much easier to sniff out in shoe stores.
-
@fiberbiker I might try some vans down the road too. Starting with the Nike SB. They will for sure be better than my Old Navy kicks (no cushion at all).
-
@bmtka so true. I am hitting the Nike outlet this weekend and will keep an eye open for deals.
-
@LidPhones I was just at the one at Potomac Mills when I was visiting the area. They had nothing in my size (6.5M). They had plenty of black/red/white Dunk SBs in larger sizes though. You should definitely snag a pair of those if you can. I'm such a girl when it comes to shoes and bags, I have FOUR pair of Dunk SBs already. Watch Tactics.com for deals too.
-
@bmtka thanks for the link. I had not been to that site before. I like it.
-
Wow these Nike SB Zooms really stick and have some good cushion. Only a quick 3 mile ride with good carving session. I like them so far.

4th of July Ride... Love'n the Nike's
I got to experience a nosedive going up hill too fast at my weight. I was able to run it out and not go down. It was close but pulled it off.
-
Flip flops work just fine for me...
-
@Count I have also seen a video I believe with a rider using bare feet. That method would connect well with the OW but I fear that a toe or two could be lost at some point. It would depend on how aggressively the OW is ridden.
-
I recently tried some boat shoes sockless and it's as close to riding barefoot as can get.
