LEIF - Snowboard Everywhere.
LEIF - Snowboard Everywhere. no it doesn't stop, just coasting. If you are bombing hills, the absolute best thing to do would be to slide. Even if electric braking still worked at 30mph, you would fly 'over the handlebars'. Sliding to speed check or stop puts your body in a position to resist that force pulling you forward when you brake downhill - comfortable, fun and reliable!anyway the board can't stop brutally like onewheel you can eject and also with this board you can break without energy just like a snowboard. riding on the side

@Tartopom rename ? no why?
-
@charge360 Yes and No....in some condition motors can lock, axle problem, little stone in the transmission...it happened to me one time, a little stone has been taken between the belt and the gear. but once again, the worst with the leaf, in to catch an edge. I happened to me few times while snowboarding, and this is something you don't want on concrete :)
-
some mile before my crash I have some kickback like you drive on beginner
-
@charge360 sorry it was for @kwatts not you :)
-
@Tartopom the leif have two motor ;)
-
@charge360 yes :) I'm sure it will be an amazing product :) I just want to point out the fact that you will not be more safe on the leaf than on the OW :) wonder also if they put a weight sensor on the leaf? seems to be the new trend and requested by laws
-
@Tartopom Yep those have been named (1 - Classic, 2 - Extreme, 3 - Elevated)
-
@kwatts Perfect ! I didn't checked yet because to see the mode you have to connect the board ;-)
Présentation suggestion, put important information such as battery life, at the top and in bigger/bold ;-)
-
The app works great, maybe make 1st screen have big font battery %, miles and speed really big, second screen for all other details.. :)
-
@parrothd All great ideas. Thing is, sadly, I'm not an UI person - if there is anyone here that is, and can do the mock ups and graphics, we can get this from a bad science project UI to a thing of beauty ;)
-
@kwatts
The line 'battery cells' gives 2.23. What is this exactly?
Probably is about balancing the cells, but Does IT need to be always 0.0?
-
@kwatts tried the new features of the app today :-) failed miserably to switch to kph from mph, but it's maybe my fault.
Also go an issue where it didn't show battery percentage at the beginning but eventually came after some time.
Except that it's great :-D
The vibration steps are really a nice feature! :-D

Lol....You and I are the same for UI, functional, not pretty.. :) ..
The latest update is perfect.. :)
-
@parrothd Check out the latest update and let me know what you think...
-
@Polle That, I think, is the AMP's for each cell. I'm really just displaying what I can get, still trying to figure out what it means - but as @parrothd found the battery cell stat can be used to see if the batteries need to be balanced. If you see different amp's across the cells when it's charging (you can still connect to the OW when it's charging) then it needs to be charged overnight.
-
@kwatts the app looks great, I haven't tested it yet, I fell on my ass the other day and still sore..lol.
-
@kwatts great update, May I suggest you to add a new feature? Keeping the top speed of the current session would be great because very often it's not easy to check phone while riding but sometimes it would be nice to be able to check the law speed I took after a ride ;-)
-
@kwatts ok thanks.
I will plug in overnight and check if it says zero after...
-
@kwatts just want to know if you modified something for the kmh settings? I still have to select them again each time I scan for the onewheel of the speed display remains in MPH.
