@Count I was going pretty fast and slammed the rear of the board into the ground to really test the brakes and lost my balance in the process (The brakes worked)

That's one of my favorite things to do (not the falling off part, but the going fast and hitting the brakes hard part). I always depend on them doing their job really well, and they usually do. But one time I did it in the parking lot by the beach, and the sand on the asphalt cause the wheel to skid, and it kinda shot out from under me.
