@thehoff the surf is very accessible. Malibu, Topanga, Sunset, etc to the north; Bay Street / piers just in front, and El Porto, etc to the south. Mad bodyboarders should also check out The Wedge . . . .

i haven't run Owb on blacktop yet but was surprised to hit a 22.4mph burst on a flat bumpy grass track i ride.
