@rainynite ahh sweet! looks good, thanks for the heads up
-
@rainynite I got my board today and did a clear wrap 10 mins after I got it.. It looks OK.. Not great.
-
@njcustom hmm... i thought it'd be pretty straight forward given the simple lines. A few here have done vinyl wraps as well and they looked pretty good. Maybe that's better?
-
@rainynite the problem is it's brushed aluminum and it doesn't stick 100%... Clear doesn't look the best because you see air bubbles. If it was colored and not clear it wouldn't be noticeable

Could someone please take a photo of the fm fender I want to see what it looks like where it meets the footplates from the side - looking under neath it and then just a side photo of the bottom of the fender - I made my own but I'm worried about water maybe going under the footplate and want to see if the fm fender extends down past the wood so to speak
Thanks in advance :)

@huber_760 how long after you ordered did the fender take to get to you?
-
-
@huber_760 awesome :) good to know Thanks
-
@huber_760 Thanks for that :) it doesn't have what I thought it might have - so does water runs down the inside and pool up on the wooden deck?
-
@eish I don't have my board yet so I am not sure how it handles water but once I get it I will test it out and let you know.
-
@eish don't think water goes on the deck as the fender seems to have a small 'ridge' (not sure if correct) that goes over the edge of the deck. (According to these pictures, as I'm waiting for mine to arrive)
Edit: I did look better and see that I was wrong :-)

Threw some paint at the fender tonight...

@J-Glide Is that EL-wire?
-
@BadWolf The line has phosphorus in it and has a small electrical current which goes around the phosphorus, and makes it glow. It's really inexpensive!

Ive ordered a bunch. Will build the batterypack and inverter into my fender :) thanks alot for the idea! Looks awesome!
