A thought: post your OW+ shipping notifications w/ first two digits of order #?

@jnollz dealers order the same way as everyone else, why are you "not super thrilled" that they get their boards in also?

@kevinrwhitley It looks like he either deleted it or I can't find it now, but one of the dealers (I believe Aaron Pope, but not sure on that) posted in the FB group yesterday saying "If you ordered a board through me, message me, I have good news" or something similar.
This would lead me to believe that he was informed his pallet had shipped. It's all well an good that dealers are getting boards now, but personally I think FM should have fulfilled all regular pre-orders before dealers get stock. I understand that some people cancelled their pre-orders and ordered through dealers because FM promised dealers early shipping dates which didn't actually happen. IMO FM should have told dealers they would be put at the end of the pre-order queue.
It would make sense for FM as well, from a financial perspective, because they likely make more on direct sales than when dealers get a cut.
@cameronbalch It was my understanding that dealers ordered pallets, rather than "the same way as everyone else", but that may be incorrect. Either way, it doesn't necessarily make sense that they could reserve a large block of OWs which would then go to customers who decided they wanted a OW at a much later time, rather than to individual backers who have been waiting longer to get their OWs.
In the end, none of this is really important. It's a toy and we will all get them sooner or later. It's just mildly irritating.

@calltoarms723 yeah I don't really understand what you are trying to say. You picked the date that they may have shipped to a dealer or two, and arbitrarily threw out two other dates as when they should have cut it off? Point I'm trying to make is that maybe the dealer order numbers were ahead of you, so why shouldn't they get their boards ahead of you?

@jnollz Unless there appears to be a trend to back that up, I'd say we don't worry about it just yet. With the DJI Mavic, it became readily apparent that dealers were getting their huge shipments way in advance of very early pre-orders... to the point that direct sales were obviously getting a mere trickle. That much was irritating.
However, from the standpoint of a business, it makes more sense for manufacturers like DJI/FM to give preferential treatment (a bit) to the big dealers because pissing off one of them is like pissing off hundreds of individuals (or worse, as it influences future orders as well). Each dealer represents a substantial future revenue stream, as opposed to a slightly bigger cut of one individual sale.

Yeah I was wondering if less of the regular pre-order people are even on here or FB so we might not hear about all these shipments. The early people who ordered tend to be those who already knew about onewheels and likely on here already or FB groups. For my instance, I just heard about them watching Casey ride the + so I was late to the game. So...c'mon FM im ready to see 11,11x ship out. Im really hoping there is not 1700 +'s still before it gets to me. But I wouldn't doubt it!

From my dealer (Keep in mind the last I heard it was shipping on this past monday the 15th:
"Your order is scheduled to ship the the week of the 29th, shipping date is Tuesday the 30th"
So add another two weeks (again) ugh
