Leiftech board?
-
Anyone tried a leiftech board and a onewheel here?
How much fun are they?
I'd assume they are different kid of fun than a onewheel but still a cool idea.
All I care about is the fun factor! Like a Nintendo switch haha... not PS4 kind of guy.

@zonk117 Great product but I'm very afraid about maintenance vs OW
-
@ako have your tried a leiftech?
-
@zonk117 No but want to, like you

Didn't know about it looks cool would be an awesome addition to the onewheel :D

@s2kboy I had the freeboard (non electric version) and it was terrifying. Always super scared of catching the downhill edge.

One of the guys in OW Los Angeles group has one.
I believe his comments were along the line of: fun, difficult and really dangerous. Also it requires lots of maintenance. Overall less fun than OW.

Just tried the Lieftech. I can certainly see how it will be fun (I'll keep at it), but the learning curve is pretty steep. Nowhere near the instinctive response of the Onewheel. And catching the front edge is scary (particularly on toe-side slides, where you can't run it out).

That's what I heard.
It also eats drive wheels like crazy.

I've tried the freebord and found it totally terrifying. I thought snowboarding experience would help and maybe it did a little but that freebord was probably the scariest thing I've ever rode. The Leiftech might be different but I would be prepared for a huge learning curve.
