After taking a look at the Stolen Onewheel Database post I thought it was great that the community is doing something to help locate boards after they have been taken. I began wondering if there were any preventative measures that could be taken.
The first thing that came to mind was something similar to the pin code locking mechanism that the Nest Thermostat has. It would be great to be able to go into the app and enter a pin code that will lock the motor of the Onewheel until the code is entered again. I could also imagine this being useful if there are kids around the house that you might not want tinkering with your Onewheel.
