App can't find my one wheel +
-
On a ride tonight I thought I had gone past 50% usage and had not yet been reminded by my app so when I pulled out my phone my one wheel + was on the app but greyed out. Could not click on it.
Came home, plugged it in, still could not access it. Deleted the app, reinstalled it and the app cannot find my one wheel. Blue tooth is turned on. Autoconnect is selected.
Running the app on my iPhone.
Any advice?

@futura when this happens to me I turn the OW off and on again, and move the phone really close to the OW, usually does the trick. On occasion the board shows as grayed out, but I can still click on it to connect. If still happening try restarting your phone.

@groovyruvy thanks groovyruvy.Tried your suggestions but nothing yet.
-
@futura hmm. Do you have another Apple device you can try connecting with? Just wondering if we can see if the issue is with the phone or with the onewheel.
-
I have a MacBook - and an iPad kicking around somewhere. I'll try out your suggestion.
I'm on out of town for a bit but will report back if this works.
cheers

I am having this same issue - I applied firmware update last week I was able to connect after that but it stopped working a day or so later.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling and restarting and everything. I don't see the onewheel come up in Bluetooth connections - what name would it appear under?
-
I run into connection issues fairly regularly. A phone reboot usually does the trick but for sure the phone must be in close proximity to the board (usually within 5 feet or less).

My iPad couldn't find the OneWheel + either.
What does one do now? Contact OneWheel directly?(my iPhone can still Bluetooth connect to why Bose speakers and other random things in the world - just not my one wheel +)

@futura let's ask the app developer @SeeTheInvisible

@groovyruvy
OK, thanks, I look forward to the app developer helping out.

@futura
How do I get the app developer to give me advice to fix this?
-
Download an app called ‚LightBlue‘ from the app store, open it and check if it finds any device with an id like ‚ow0xxxxx‘. If so, open the app and check if it works again.

@seetheinvisible
Well that was unexpectedly satisfying - it worked!!
Thanks seetheinvisible!I was able to download the 4020 firmware update. So now we have DELIRIUM I see.

@seetheinvisible thank you so much for this post. I've. been waiting for Customer service to help me with this issue since August 24 2017. To think it was a fix on the forums, I hope they put you on payroll and tech support :)

@SeeTheInvisible I know this is an old thread but I had this problem recently and just wanted to say thank you.
Hadn't been able to see my boar din the OW app for over two weeks and the LightBlue app fixed the problem in 2 minutes.
