13" tire on V1
Just finished a rough cut and gonna test it out.
If I like it, I'll finish it up.
Will report later, if I make it back alive. lol...

@sonny123: great mod!
wonder how you are going to deal with extra length? i am quite sure you will need the stability/rigidity of all the components mounted in the right place...ideal way would be to make longer custom rails (like one guy in the FB group is working on), but this seems quite some effort to me...what´s your plan?
anyway, I would have always loved some extra ground clearance for offroading due to a larger tire!
First impression. Bingo, I like it.
Gonna patch it up.
There's a grassy hill that I couldn't bomb without wheel slip on the V1 and +.
Was gonna do that first thing but it started raining. Shot a quick video in parking lot and it's uploading.
Yes, I saw the one on FB. Great work there.
I did very small modification and will have to reinforce it.
It should hold up.
Hardest part was extending all 14 wires coming from battery module.
Everything else. piece of cake. ;)

Hell ya thats awesome!
Little bit of nails, duct tape and paint sticks and voila.
Damn, it's gonna take one bigger fender. lol..

@sonny123 glad you're still alive tho 😂😂😂
Well, did a test run this morning.
The floating sensation on this thing is out of this world.
Grass runs like butter.
Being it's a bigger tire, the torque is not there for grassy/rough hills.
The motor will cut out and it will dump you.
A lighter weight rider, quicker on his feet will probably dodge the bullet.
Staying below 13-14 mph is a good idea. It's a higher deck and nose dive could be brutal.
Couldn't try that hill I wanted to bomb because there was a guy there on his phone. But my guess, I wouldn't have been able to.
It will need momentum and a pair of brass balls. lol.. At 50, thanks but no thanks.
All in all, pretty happy with the mod.
Heck, it might get more time than the +.

@sonny123 Re the floating sensation:
you think that has to do with the tire being more curved than the default Vega?
I can easily see that being a big factor.
And a big reason for me to try such a tire ... 😋
Thanks so much for sharing!
Going down steep hill is a slippery road since it's a bigger tire which makes it harder for the motor to slow down.
Also, sudden braking and the tail will come down. Easy braking is okay.
Placing 2 wheels on back with some resistance in them might do the trick.
Would be great if FM comes up with bigger motor that can sustain.
I think the curve is in between the Vega tire and the Hoosier.
Between that and bigger diameter, more air in there,
sure make a difference.
@PowerWheel5000 having fun on Monster Wheel...

@sonny123 the larger tire- you like it because of the more 'floatiness', but is that worth it at the expense of less torque?
Oh absolutely. It's awesome for cruising around.
When I need more torque, I grab my +. ;)

@sonny123 we want to see the board!
Sure, next time around now that I have little more confidence. ;)
I tore up my duct tape for you. lol...
I thought bombing that hill in Elevated mode wouldn't make a difference since the deck is higher anyway.
Boy was I wrong.
