Goofy foot and mirror for commuting
Magiccarpetrider last edited by
For eight years I have commuted to work by an electric bike. Now the OW+ is here and it makes me smile more than my bicycle on my commute. The helmet mounted mirror has been a great safety tool like the one in the link below. On top of that learning from the get go to ride goofy footed allows me to face traffic. This mirror is bigger than the “dental” mirror that you commonly see for this application. At sub 20mph speeds you are able to scan behind you very well without turning your head (if I know it is clear, I turn to look before moving into the traffic lane) When I say in traffic I am referring to less traveled residential streets.![alt text](![image url](image url))

I bought something similar hoping to use it like you're using yours, but I found it was actually easier for me to just look behind me quickly (even when going at higher speeds).
One thing I thought about trying was the wrist mirrors I've seen for sale.
