Many of us in the Onewheel community love the look of the board without a fender, but still wanted protection from water and rocks. We did not see options for achieving this on the market, so we created the FlightFender. It offers a substantial amount of protection – nearly 70% of a full fender – while giving the board the minimalist ascetic and aerodynamic quality for which riders have been searching. The FlightFender is also incredibly durable - made of the highest quality plastic available.
Orders will be fulfilled in the order they were received.
Benefits:
-
Zip Ties Optional – the FlightFender utilizes the eight screw holes on the board and does not need ties. For extreme riders or those wanting double protection, tie notches have been added to the fender.
-
No Drilling – the FlightFender is fully vertically adjustable for your custom FlightFin placement.
-
Fits All Onewheels – the FlightFender fits all Onewheels including the XR.
-
Wider Stance – the FlightFender gives riders a wider stance than a traditional full fender with fins. This equals more stability for jumps and carvability.
-
Virtually Roll-Proof – the FlightFender has been especially designed to avoid the ground during a roll giving the fender longer life.

Thanks for all your support guys!! We love this sport!!
-
@michaelw Preordered! Glad you guys took the zip-tie thing into consideration, that was probably a last minute pivot from you all but it def. looks a lot cleaner.
-
@michaelw Actually even without Flight-Fins it is good fender. Naked, but protects from splashes. Is it?
-
@vitaly Its about 60-70% For debris and water. But if you care that much you need to go with a full fender. I went through puddles at the beach the other day and nothing... Way better than no fender!
-
@michaelw I'm sold. Ordering two :)
-
I didn't want to miss out so I ordered one while golfing on my phone! But when I got home, I noticed a $4.97 Ohio State tax? The number didn't add up but I was on the green trying to line my birdie putt so I just ordered it.
Is this a new thing? i live in Los Angeles?
BTW, I appreciate the transparency by showing the install details this time. :thumbup!
-
@mrclowny Yeah, company is based in Ohio with my brother. I guess thats the tax you need to pay... Anyway thanks for the props! We can't wait to get these into the hands of the community!!
-
out of state orders usually don't pay taxes unless the shop has presence in the same state as the buyer.
-
@sfctac Hmmmm I need to look into that. Thanks for the heads up!
-
@sfctac @MichaelW Ohio seems to be an origin based tax from what I read on google. So I suppose it's what it is. Learned something new today.
-
Just ordered the flight fender and fin combo last night. Yeah boy.
-
ordered both too ! Can't wait to jump over and over...
-
Thanks for the orders guys! A new surprise coming soon!!
-
@michaelw another surprise??????
