Got my Onewheel 2 weeks ago. I just decked it out. All the tape work was done by hand. Nothing came prefabbed but the rail guards. Opinions and comments are welcome. I named mine, “RîG*VICîOUS” (Now I gotta learn to ride the thing)

@causticgrip looks good
-
Niiice looking OW!
-
Looks great! But I gotta say, it's not complete until you find a matching outfit to wear while riding! Ha!
-
What tape did you use for this?
-
@cojobi nah, I’m not that vain...besides...Rig Vicious shouldn’t be upstaged...

@DCSpud I used:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072PVPZBH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Had to cut and tape a lot of blocks together to get a large enough surface to make the hub and rims trim. The hub was done with 4 white blocks
The rims trim was done with 6 blocks of red.
Hub and rim were done with this tool:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001CEAMCY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Rail trim was done using 2 white blocks taped together and the XR was done with 1 each
Power plug uses these:

@causticgrip That's a really interesting and creative solution for the power port - when I lose the rest of my cheapie rubber dummy XLR plugs I might do this. Bookmarked.
-
Very nice!!
-
@causticgrip That's really awesome! I've been wanting to do something similar to mine for a while now. Just need to find some colors I like.
-
Just really started wheeling the thing around in my house and hallway and already making tight corner turns and mastered the technicality of the dancers pose to stop the rig.
Done in a weeks time of wheeling 10 min a day. Got it up to 10mph in the hall way, which is only 40’ long...
By spring I’ll be ready for street rides in NYC.
-
@causticgrip keep up the good practice. I took it nice and slow and worked my way up to being able to cruise around effortlessly. Watch out when you hit the road for height changes in the ground. They really caught me off guard when the were in line with the wheel.

@tomfoolery
Appreciate the advice. But while I was never a skate boarder, I’ve owned a hover board and mono wheel and have some experience in the street with those and the condition changes you speak of.As a result I’m am not very concerned about elevation and road condition changes considering how adept the OW is to overcoming these variations. But thank you.

Put a big spoiler on it! 🤪 ...it does look faster though.

Boom! Your welcome.

You wound me...
-
@causticgrip I love the reflective tape look. My in-laws have a vinyl machine. I customized mine but am rethinking the plain colors.
-
@Michael cool shit. Nice look.
-
@causticgrip very good work. Looks really cool!
Can you tell me the out and inner diameter you have used for the hub and for the rim?
-
What kind of fender guard do you have?@causticgrip
