Wobble at higher speeds
-
I have about 40 miles on my new XR, and it is really getting comfortable and amazing to carve. I have been on smooth pavement and off road on local trails.
I notice that i get wobble when my speed gets up around 14-15 mph. i try to relax my feet and let the board settle, but it doesn't go away until i back off the speed. I'm nervous about it getting out of control and coming off the board, which would be injurious of course at 15+ mph.
Any other riders getting wobble? Any advice about dealing with it?Thanks!

40 miles is not that much. Just keep riding. You’ll get better and feel more comfortable after you’ve ridden a few hundred miles.

I wobbled quite a bit as a noob to any type of boarding when I started. As I got used to it the wobbled stopped. I still get some when I start to fatigue.

@peterelsea just keep riding and your muscles will reduce that wobble as well as experimenting with foot positioning.

Like said above if I have my front foot too far forward I can’t stop to wobble. Move my front foot back a little and problem solved!

@peterelsea agree with everything said above. But 14-15 mph is around where pushback happens to let you know that your starting to push the board too hard. In my experience, early on, that led me to wobble quite a bit. But I’m over 300 miles in now and I barely notice it anymore.

Try moving your back foot, it's probably a positional thing.

I notice a wobble similar to what you describe when my feet get fatigued. Its worse when I start to get pushback from the board with fatigued feet. Like the others said, more miles should fix it.

@peterelsea also check your tire pressure.
