Lower risk of nosedive?
-
Hi,
do you think riding in custom with a Little elevated nose lowers the Risk of nosediving compared to regular nose hight?
-
I don't think so no.
If the nose is up you tend to push it down even harder so you will probably crash even faster.
I'm looking towards"fangs".
-
But my whole Center of gravity is fore on the back foot/over the Wheel and not so far down on the front.

@owpete
We lifted the height 3" for bigger wheel and for laughs.
The nosedives are more severe. Recovery or run-outs are harder.Momentum has an increased effect because the pivot point has moved.
It clears deeper water puddles .

@fruitygreen Hahaaaaaa . . . as long as you were jacking it up, you shoulda added some shocks!!! Looks cool, but yeah, getting closer to how you have to balance on a unicycle, so I can see how it would be much more prone to both nose AND tail dives!

@OneDan
Yeah my boy did say to just take some bike shocks and just mount it for props.It was getting heavy though and my time/ efforts are better spent elsewhere

@owpete I ride with the nose elevated to .04 to give me clearance on uphill runs. Both of my nosedives have been going up hill
