My XR was stolen on a test ride....

Perhaps check the app for rides popping up in your area?
-
may the nose dive demon forever haunt them
-
does anyone know any good small trackers out there? could be a good idea to hide one inside the unit but the only issue is taking it out to charge it.
-
@Daymos This might be a good idea to hide on your board or something...

If you remove the cover closest to the wheel on the front end of the board, there is room to 3M tape a Tile into that area. Lots of folks currently do that but Tile relies on there being other folks around.

Dude, my condolences. What happened? Did you let them test ride your board and they never came back?
-
@Andrewblack11 Sounds exactly like my board, you don’t have a Hoosier FF Treaded tire on it too do/did you? I would contact FM and have them be on the look out for someone ordering an XR charger in your area assuming they kept it for themselves.

Perfect opportunity for an improvement. So you have the app, you have the board, why not disable the board unless sinc'd to the phone via the app? Basically a "lock" feature owners can enable?
-
doesn't take much to ride past your bluetooth connection

Stolen and finding it on Craigslist or EBay sounds great! You found it! Now good luck getting it back as you watch days go by and sheriff’s s not able to do a damn thing about it.
Going through now....

your post is very hazy on details but if you allowed a test ride its not stolen you gave possession to the test rider it's like loaning your car and providing the keys. You made a huge tactical error you should never allow test rides unless you are holding payment in full. I suggest you move on and put this behind you because you gave the board away it wasn't stolen you will never be able to get it back even if you find it. if they get hurt on it you might even get sued
