@Franko lol sorry, I was just thinking they haven’t put anything new out in like 4-5 years. So I guess I should have said “older but gooder.”
-
@a_onekatie ok, that works. i like 'em!
-
Oh, COMPLETELY different vibe, but I’m a pretty big fan of Em’s new album, Music to be Murdered By, too.
-
Okay two things-
First @McFloaty Real Estate have a brand new album out today!!!
Next, if anyone likes electronic music the new Caribou album, Suddenly, has some great eclectic/dreamy/floaty vibes, with some real bangers mixed in too!
-
@a_onekatie you rock. TY. On another note, but related, both Moog and Korg have free synth apps for iOS and Android, for the hunkering down and bored...

@McFloaty Excelent, except that 23 min was about 16 minutes short.

Old school here. Have about 200 songs on my MP3 player (just got some aftershokz headphones so I can hear what's going on around me along with the music.)
30 minute ride on Sunday . . . went back through the playlist. Anyone get music whiplash from this selection of music that was playing in my head while I was riding?
Sunny - Bobby Helm
Gray Dog Blues - Jack Ferrell
Every time we touch - shattered reality
Good timin' - Jimmy Jones
Life's been good - (artist name doesn't show)
Silent Solders - Axe
Phantom of the opera - (artist name doesn't show)

I put together a little self isolation soundtrack on AppleMusic if anyone is interested 🤪

@a_onekatie Yes! Great idea, I was thinking of doing the same and my opening track is the exact same as yours. I then thought Good Charlotte’s “The Day That I Die” Neil Young’s “Rockin in the Free World” and “Hot Girl Bummer” by Blackbear. Didn’t give too much more thought after those four tracks. I did recently purchase Mother Love Bone’s self-titled album. I remember listening to the cassette tape when I was a kid.
-
@HanahsDax haha awesome! Good additions there, I’ll keep updating my list!

I used to have a car where I could plug in my mp3 player to the stereo. So some songs on it were for my kids and I haven't removed them. You should see my expression if I'm on the MC and "Harry Potter Puppet Pals and the Mysterious Ticking Noise" starts to play in my ears.
