I've thought of calling FM and volunteering to be the service rep for my state . . . and do it for free so they can figure out their training plan.
Shipping from my state (or overseas) is obscene - they need to do something so it doesn't cost 1/4 to 1/2 the price of the board to get it serviced.
Better yet, bite the bullet, put up some official service videos, sell the spare parts, and help people to repair their own boards.
If they decide to keep going down the road of Apple, with proprietary EVERYTHING, I'm going to be the first one building my own OW when the awesome techheads out there figure it out and post it online.

I heard rumors, FM and the business’ on Stoke Life Service, might be sharing data and serial numbers on boards being serviced outside of San Jose, if you know what I’m talking about.
