Onewheel backpack

my update for the Craft & Ride backpack is that they are behind schedule on production because the Pints were delayed... they are now telling me that they are in production and i should have my backpack in "mid-october."
i sure hope so! i decided not to cancel my order because i waited months for the Pint, i can wait an extra month or so for the backpack. i am also giving them slack because C&R has such great reviews from everyone else for their other products -- but i wish they would be a bit more proactive and reach out to people like me who pre-ordered months ago... waiting for me to email to ask if i'm ever going to get my order is just bad customer service. they've had my money for months, and it would take nothing for them to just send an email out to people like me to smooth my feathers. (and yeah, the similarity to FM is definitely not lost on me)

@Franko oh I get it...I’ve gotten all my accessories from FM besides my quick charger... Has anyone received a quick charger yet?
-
@ShreddieMcskate
Not the actual Pint quick charger. I bought a Pint to XR charge adapter and use my XR charger (same internals just XR plastic case).
-
@Franko I bet you get a tiny one in the post, one that’ll fit that small plastic pint that we all received.

lol!
actually, that would be kind of awesome....
-
@LidPhones it’s not super comfortable because it’s a long metal rail going down your spine...but you can adjust it so it’s not as bad....I really do like it though ...I bring my pint I’m the bag to work every day🤘🏽

Yeah, was thinking that the OW rail would rest right on your spin from the image. Thanks for confirming it. Is the quality and durability of the backpack meeting your expectaions?
-
@ShreddieMcskate I have the Pint Ultracharger. It works as advertised.
-
@LidPhones the material is definitely tougher than I thought...also the carrying handle is in a good spot...when you take the bag off the handles are right there instead of the back of the bag...
-
Does anyone have the superow back pack from craft & ride for the XR? Trying to decide between that one and the one by onewheel. Any thoughts?
-
@ShreddieMcskate
Ok sold... Does FM send you the sales commission on this one.. ;-)
-
@LidPhones lol I wish!!!😂
-
Well talk about prompt customer service (sales side), great work @Future-Motion, I ordered the backpack today and also got my shipping notice today. @Future-Motion please send your new salesperson @ShreddieMcskate the well deserved incentive on this....
Looking forward to using the backpack on my work trip to Germany in November.

@LidPhones 😂😂🤘🏽🤘🏽🤜🏽🤜🏽👍🏽

I was really hoping for some kind of padding on the spine of the bag, at least a layer of high density foam, it's not a backpack, it's a $125 tarp bag with shoulder straps
-
@b0ardski
Yeah my plan is to hopefully add some rail padding to enhance comfort once mine shows up. I will report back on what I come up with.
-
@b0ardski I don’t even want a “bag” TBH. I need to design some sort of sling or harness I think...

I dunno, it's pretty small, can't you just attach it to your key ring? :D

In the facebook onewheel owners group, someone has a picture of them using one of these:
Slip a loop over each end of the OW and then sling in on a shoulder like a purse or bag.

@UTrider This would be useful enough for short-carry distances, but for longer carries you're gonna get tired of that thing banging into your hip; not to mention getting road-schmutz all over your clothes, abrading them with the griptape, etc.
