@Funkalopigus wow, you're doing great for only having it for three days. i particularly like how, in one transition from sidewalk to funky terrain, you had to step off -- but you started over, looped around, and conquered the same spot on your next try. nice!

@Funkalopigus ooh, the mighty Mississip -- whereabouts? i lived in St. Louis and southeastern MO (Cape Girardeau) for about a decade. some very pretty areas, but omg the HUMIDITY! haha

Not to hijack the conversation, as an Iowa guy, I second that HUMIDITY stuff.... Especially after a heavy rain and then Sunshine. 🥵🌞

there were some summers where i swear i'd shower in the morning and then not be able to really dry off ALL DAY. anyway, i didn't mean to derail, just curious. the Mississippi is a long, long river. : )

@Franko I was in Little Falls, Minnesota. A really great town to float and yeah, it was humid and the bugs were out in full force. It was such a cool feeling to cross the river on my OW.
