RE: Anyone get the XR Hypercharger?
@steeve Yeah I test their stuff, so yeah I have one and it works. I've timed it.
If I run my board dead first until it pushes back, my board will charge up all the way in 82 min. with normal charger, or in 42 min. with that cable connected to 2 normal chargers.
It's super simple.
RE: Two-X Battery
@Whatup I work closely with two-x so have been testing one of the batteries for over a year. Other than a few scares with water getting into the battery box, it's been awesome.
I can get 14-15 miles as long as it isn't too cold, and it is a lot more powerful and I never nosedive any more.
I think the seal on the battery box isn't very good at re-sealing so probably need to figure out something to keep out water.
New "Charge-X" cable charges onewheels 2x as fast
Introducing Charge-X cable!
The new product offering from Two-X, this is a simple cable that lets you combine the current output of two chargers to charge your board faster.
You know how Onewheel says you can charge a Plus in 20min but it always takes you 40min? Well now you really can do it in 20min! Get some use out of those extra chargers you have laying around.
Qualified for use with V1 and Plus, and XR coming soon. (This just means, we are still in process of testing it on XR).

RE: Another nosedive question
On the XR, the nosedive risk starts out negligible when the battery is full, and becomes most worrisome when the battery is almost dead. It's highly dependent on the charge level.
On the V1/Plus, the nosedive risk is more consistent across the discharge curve, but definitely higher overall. If you're serious about not nosediving on one of these, install a Two-X upgrade (two-x.com).
RE: Sudden Power Loss +XR Pavement Hurts...
@LidPhones what is the deal with the surges? I used to think they were a precursor to nosedives, kind of like an early warning. But since I put in two-x upgrade (into my plus) I have yet to nosedive at all. But, I can still get it to surge, albeit a lot more rarely, when going up steep hills for example. the upgrade felt much more powerful at first but I got used to it pretty quick, now I find I'm back pushing the limits again, even if they are higher limits.
But I can def find those limits and occasionally it will surge. But so far never leads to nosedive even if I keep pushing. Maybe I'll get a darwin award when I nosedive my two-x by oblivious surging ;)
RE: Real world range experience - high side of what's stated
I have been trying to get 20 miles out of my plus with two-x upgrade, I just can't do it, so far. Best is 19.3mi. I would have to lose weight or something to do better I think. Or maybe find some perfect smooth pavement. All these things def make a difference
