My XR just started making a loud and 'feelable' clicking noise. Only does it going one way and not the other so a bit perplexed!? Could it be bad bearings?? Anyone???
Holy SH#*!!T This one accessory is the biggest innovation/improvement for the OW since the new hypercore motor!
Gives you a whole new level of precision in your steering and board control. I couldn't stop noodling around weaving in and out of tight curves and corners. Could immediately steer right around small obstacles with a insane level of control!
It did feel weird the first few minutes and seemed to put a bit more torque on my knees due to the fact that my back foot barely moved on the board. My back foot felt almost 'glued' down! After 5-10 minutes the knees loosened up (I'm old) and the rest of my ride was just a whole new and joyful experience. Can easily see why folks that ride with this footpad NEVER go back..
@wheelrich Does that fender keep debris off the decks? The Sidewinder seems to cover a bit more of the wheel so wondering if hold debris better?
I also bought the flight fender and it threw too much crap up on the deck when off-roading. Bummer as I really dug the look of the open wheel again.
Ordered Gold Edition on Jan. 7th...and it arrived last Sat. April, 29. Fender arrived today.
With both of my Onewheel orders, they kinda lamed out with 'premature notification' and yeah, you know what I'm getting at. Both times telling me the board was on the way, only to back-track and tell me later it was delayed. But hey, in both cases they gave me some apology-shwag and with an board sport this damn fun to ride, I'll put up with a little shenanigans..
I have been riding on the farm for almost a year and have been loving listening music while One Wheeling. However, I finally got on out the paved streets recently and felt ~very much at risk~ with earphones on so I fully agree...when riding anywhere near traffic or other moving obstacles, keep your ears open and your awareness up!
Vans here as well..I picked up a nice pair of slip-ons..same basic pair I wore in 8th grade. Was the style at the time..
Those springblades are bizzare..had not seen that yet, thanks.
