RE: Best air pressure to your weight
I am 225lbs/100kgs; I started out at what I thought was 18 PSI; after a while bought a new pump, turns out I'd been riding at around 12-14... very cushy.
So then I tried to ride at the recommended 20 PSI - it felt quite unstable but it did give me an extra 2km - it would say doable on tarmac, not much fun off-road.
I generally now ride around at 14-16.

RE: Non-OW Related: Anyone else following this product?
@callenj357 cool - enjoy! the pre-order price looks like a good discount on the fisherman. For comparison - the normal one ('Cruiser') that I ordered on Kickstarter is now selling for $1899 (official list price $2190); I paid $1,265 on Kickstarter, so I would expect that their pre-order discount is pretty real, so getting in early may be worth it.
Most of my family from my dad's side is from the Utrecht area! I live in The Hague though - by the beach
I see you are from Melbourne - my wife is from Melbourne too - except she's from the one in Oz :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
Did once almost book a surprisingly cheap flight from Holland to what turned out to be the wrong Melbourne... doh! -
RE: Non-OW Related: Anyone else following this product?
I just received mine! I ordered 2 on Kickstarter incl LEDs.
Here is a video from Kickstarter days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xE-ohfUhiDk
and one showing the LEDs for night SUPping: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-COXt0KXf0
Note that the video still shows a prototype engine and board; the final product is a bit sleeker still (they just won a red dot design award too). They reached various stretch goals so it now also comes with a handy backpack that holds everything, and an app to further track and control the board. I ordered a spare battery for each board so should be able to get up to 4-6 hours of assisted paddling.
But as it is now December we're going into winter here in the Netherlands, so I won't be trying it out on the water till April I think... :-(
Here are some more videos: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCfvdyJNaubZaxJDQjN25zGA
and a review: http://www.isupworld.com/sipaboard/alright enough marketing - I promise I don't work for them - just an excited backer! :-)
Hope useful!

RE: Charger stays Green
@bgwily1 - I used to get the 3-blinks fairly frequently when my board was brand new - mostly when starting to ride straight off the charger, sometimes a little bit later. I didn't really get it anymore after a couple of weeks; figured it must be the battery that just charged a bit too well initially??
I also had the 'board-won't-charge' problem a couple of weeks ago - but the app didn't show that it was charging. Indeed as @J-Glide says, the basic solution for my board was: make sure the board is powered off before putting it on the charger, then plug it in, and when the light on the charger goes green: press the power button and then it started charging (app still wouldn't show that it was charging though, but it was). See also this thread.
Hope you get yours working again soon!

RE: Small Fender Mod
not a fender mod - but if we are talking music: I have these on pre-order:
hope they'll be a good fit & match to the onewheel experience! :-)

RE: Battery won't charge anymore...?
@Polle yes indeed very happy about this - will keep you posted once I get the new board as -besides these problems- I always felt the range I was getting was lower than anyone else on the forum (which may of course well be related to battery issues) - let's see how the new board will do!

RE: Before Onewheel?
@NYC - I think the range is a bit disappointing still - but still: a taste of things to come...??

Thanks @Nat - I hope so too! :snowboarder: :dash: (they need a Onewheel emoji!)
