If you have a nose dive, you didn’t do it right. If your skateboard shoots out from under you, you didn’t do it right. If you catch your heel side edge on a snowboard and get shit-whipped to your dome, you didn’t do it right. It’s that simple. The only way to fix the “nosedive problem” would be to have an infinitely powerful motor. But that would result in infinite speed. You people bitchin about safety are gonna ruin it for everyone else. If you can’t take a slam, play video games.

Flight fins modification
Hey I just thought y’all might like to see this. I’ve been riding for like 8 months. I’m a long time snowboarder. Never really could do much on a skateboard cause I wasn’t hooked on. I’ve been holding off on the flight fins because I didn’t like the idea of having my feet so close. I run a wide stance. So then I saw some blocks that someone is making to widen the stance of the fins. Well I made my own out of some foam yoga blocks. I just got some longer bolts, ran em right through, and trimmed off the excess bolt with a grinder. It works pretty good. They are solid and pretty much weightless. I think I’m gonna make the back one even thicker. It’s been a lot of trial and error to get em right but they’re easy to cut and cheap and you can shape them however you want. Pictured is my second set. I think with one more try, tweaking the angles of my cuts a little, I will have them in the perfect position. Ok now let me figure out how to get the picture on here...

RE: New OneWheel APP Update: 2.1.33
The long charge fixed it! I couldn’t wait two days so I rode after about 24 hrs of charging and she went all the way down to 3% before kickin me off. Yeehaw!

RE: First nosedive
I don’t know why anyone would assume this sport is supposed to be safe. Board sports are known for kickin your ass. Skateboarders scrape their skin off on the regular. If you want to shred... prepare to take a beating. You gotta pay to play. If you can’t take some slams you definitely should not be playin. It seems most people are taking most of the damage to their upper body. Shoulders, collar bones, elbows. The good part is that you don’t really need these parts to keep on riding! I’ll never stop!

Stuck it.
In a world of everyone crying about their pint orders, I would like to bring a new topic to light. Here’s my question.. if you land a trick but your nose or tail scrapes.... did you stick it? Does it count? Or maybe like it still counts but not “clean” I feel like you get more props if you only touch wheel right? I mean unless the drag is intentional... thoughts?

RE: Stupid problems, warranties, must keep riding
Yeah it’s an xr. I wonder if they’ll let me finance another one when I haven’t paid off the first one yet.... I guess I’m gonna be riding in stealth mode for a while. Maybe get a little help from some duct tape and a mag lite. I have been treating this thing like it’s my first born. I mean... aside from standing on it and riding it hard through the woods... I’ve been so paranoid that I’d tear it up and now it starts. Kinda frustrating. But I guess you gotta pay to play. Still way more fun than my ex girlfriend.

RE: The only thing we need from FM is part replacement program! Not new colourful fenders! Think of environment, FM!
Amen brother. One of my biggest fears is the day I have to send my board back. I could change any part my self if I could get it.

RE: XR not shutting down when front-foot lifted
I had a footpad go bad. I just called em, they sent me one really fast, charged me 100 bucks ( which is better than buying the set of both pads on the site for 150.) and then when I returned the bad one, they refunded my money. I thought that was pretty cool.

RE: Park Rangers and One Wheel being a motor vehicle
I just ride and be nice. I’ve had one ranger stop me and say I’m technically not allowed.. but then he informed me that he was leaving, and told me to be careful. If I see lots of people I head the other way. Most people I do encounter are friendly and interested in the crazy thing I’m riding. As long as we are nice, and give the people who aren’t breaking the rules the right of way, they won’t complain much. And if people aren’t complaining, the rangers will be more likely to worry about something else. I had a cop stop me in a parking lot. It was obvious that I was about to head out into a 45 mph road. He just wanted to know what it was. Offered to let him ride it, he said no. So I called him a pussy and he jumped on! No joke! Just be nice guys... smile, stay out of peoples way. Try not to scare their dogs. We will win.
