    Bradley Kauffman

    @BradK

    I consider myself an avid snowboarder around our area so when the Onewheel came out, I felt that shredding in the Summer with the feeling of snowboarding would be perfect for me and boy was I right! Other then snowboarding I love kayaking, photography, airsoft, and hanging out with a big part of my family. The older I get the more involved I am with technology and the more I tend to learn on how technology works. So with this said, watch for my posts and threads because I have some neat ideas to capture down the road with the Onewheel and I cant wait to see what others do with there Onewheels!

    • RE: Allen's put in with 10000 pounds of torque

      @OneWheelNoob lol I just had a similar meltdown about this 2 days ago and asked myself the same exact questions. If the screws strip, your best bet and probably only one is to get an extractor set to drill out the screws ( be very cautious on the side that has the power cable). When you do get new ones in then this will be something you shouldn't ever have to worry about. That fender is a must! Keeps the ride way cleaner!

    • RE: Onewheel+ review from an experienced snowboarder, no prior OneWheel experience

      @ZeeMox I feel like any toy you grow out of but the Onewheel I always come back to and ride. I have similarities like you and do a great amount of snowboarding and that's the majority of why I bought the board. I cant argue much, I mean the board really mimics a true respect of what snowboarding feels like and some people just don't understand that concept. Ride on though and put it to the test off road or on the road because in the end it serves to me as an option of snowboarding out of season especially when you live in the Mid-Atlantic where our seasons sometimes survive maybe 3 months!

      @sonny123 I agree with this statement, a week of riding the Onewheel is not exactly the best time to throw out a perspective even though that's fine and I am not going to stop you. There are plenty of active members in these forums that have been with Onewheel since the Kickstarter program, and those people should really be the ones with the most legit perspectives or reviews. Onewheel has come such a long way and if top speeds are what make people not like this board there are some things you should look into such as regulations, internal mechanics, etc etc. Longevity of the boards battery can differ with a 10 degree temperature change believe it or not so that's just something you come to realize with more riding experience as well. Understand that with the new Onewheel + Future Motion is working on a lot of these thread forums with making the Onewheel totally up to your custom preference but that is not something that happens within a week or a month. Let the Onewheel continue to progress, give at least a good couple of months of regular riding and I am sure you will come to understand better of why the board does what it does.

      I use to keep up with him and watch his YouTube vids but I came to realize he isn't quite my style... he has great ideas but just seems to come off to cocky for me.

    • RE: Small rocks and such stuck in the tire

      @8bit No stress as this will always be an issue. I still usually get a cloth and just wipe my tire off when finished riding. If you do happen to notice your tire loosing air pressure slowly then use about a half can of slime and that will carry a long way!

    • RE: Petition to open up shaping modes to the community

      Great ideas but remember just because we now have the Onewheel + doesnt mean the Onewheel can preform at a high speed for long durations. You can only give so much power b4 the internals fry up or break. The new upgrade may push max speeds higher but doesnt mean its capable of going faster for longer durations.
