I think 850 is a SMOKIN’ deal for a NIB plus!

RE: New rider? Here’s how I learned to ride OneWheel XR, 400 miles and no significant injuries.
I've got a helmet lol. Good ol Pro-Tec, but do the fangs really stop you from eating shit? If so, I'm down. That was quite an impact.
This thing is truly incredible! Just can't get it to stay connected to app.
Hey guys, just got my Onewheel+ XR yesterday, and it is everything that I hoped it would be, and more. I had built up a lot of anticipation, and it would have been easy for me to be disappointed if it wasn't absolutely awesome, but it is, indeed, incredible. Rode 10 or so miles my first day, and was pretty smooth and confident within the first few hours. Only problem is that I can't get my board to stay connected to the app. Any suggestions?
WTF is up with people riding on the beach/in the salt water?!?!?
Ok, so I preface this with the fact that I grew up in a coastal house, and am well acquainted with the destructiveness of salt water to metals and especially electronics, but I found this article the other day and was blown away:
I then looked more, and it seems like a lot of people are riding their OWs on the beach on the hard packed sand down by the water. This is probably ok-ish (I wouldn't do it with mine) as long as you rinse off your board with fresh water after, but some people seem to be riding in the water's edge.
Regardless of the OW being "water resistant", this is 100% going to kill your board sooner rather than later. The salt water will migrate in and corrode and/or fry stuff. I would be shocked if any board makes it more than a month or two with this type of riding.
Just kind of a disbelief PSA/rant on my part lol. Hate to see people killing their boards.
RE: Fangs nullified a 19mph nosedive
I am a believer in the Fangs. They're of no use offroad or on really rough asphalt/concrete, but on most road and sidewalk surfaces, they are a lifesaver. I have had a similar experience to Rough Cutt in which I got a little too aggressive at like 12mph or so, and nosed my board down. Instead of a dead stop nosedive, the fangs just rolled and i rode nose down for a second or so and then recovered. Had i not had them, results would have been significantly different lol.
