Had a little tailgate party y'all! Wow it's a totally different animal. It's pretty much what I imagined but really nuanced so just beginning to get the feal. Tire change was no problimo. I used some woodworking clamps to break the beads and also used the clamps along with some wood scrap "spoons" and was able to ease the first bead up and sideways with the clamps until it just slipped past 180* and was free. The next bead was so easy it just popped up and over with the leverage of the rest of the tire. Really soapy water is the key. The replacement goes on super easy with strong hands and soap. It's different for sure so you miss the edges a little right off the bat. It seems to be about timing your lean with arc of your carve or turn more. The actual board roll instead of ankle roll is really nice when everything is synchronized, but because its so round and narrower it can roll and high side easier in a way if you don't manage it naturally with your lean and heel/toe pressure. I'll have to ride it some more and give a full review but I think I like it! Thanks again @No @Gwinntanamo for all of the pioneering!

    • RE: Do not ride at high speed!

@gwinntanamo I just broke my clavicle 3.5 weeks ago and am just starting PT I was probably doing close to 20 was fully crouched feeling the grass with my palm when I found a rogue pot hole in the pasture and uncoiled all of my inertia into the ground 20 ft later landing lead clavicle first. Broke into 4 pieces but still didn't need surgery. I've heard of alot of these splattered clavs lately. I've been riding OG OW for 2 years before getting plus. Had plenty of nosedives but never ending in disaster. Might b time to invent some kind of shoulder/clavicle protection for high speed trail riding especially.0_1507229610247_IMG_1598.jpg
This is me sometime between leaving the board and hitting the ground. I'll post the video asap.

@gwinntanamo what about power sliding or breaking loose during a quick kick turn. It's become my favorite motion...de-wieghting the wheel during a slashed healside carve and feeling the earth shred under wheelspin. Would the treaded/rounded tire inhibit this? Or just change it a bit?
