Think I finally figured it out. The audio notifications seem to only play when the phone is not on mute. My iPhone can be on mute to play music but only when I unmute the phone will the notifications actually play over the music. Thanks everyone again for the help.

RE: High Speed Nose Dive in Delirium (WW+)
Great tips. I've been trying to do #1 when I remember, but #2 I think is what I need to focus on more. I had my first nose dive yesterday (2-month owner of the OW+) and I'm convinced that in my attempt to accelerate quickly, I missed the pushback altogether. From a stop to the dive, I think I only traveled 30 ft, but the OW got up 18.5mph before it cut out. I've been on the forums daily and have read everything on pushback and nosediving. I've been pretty good about feeling the pushback and laying off but the second you lose some focus, the OW will humble you. I was able to walk away with only a sore neck and some bruises (biggest bruise was to my pride), but now that I've gotten my first nosedive out of the way, I'll be more focused and will hopefully be able to recognize and run it out next time (although hard because I am usually in dress shoes on my way to work).
OW+ being pulled by a truck/car...
I've always been curious to know what would happen if you hung on to the back of a pick up truck or a car as it went faster than 20mph. Would the OW+ simply shut off and get pulled by the truck? Severe push back? What would happen when you let go of the truck traveling faster than the limit on the OW+? Immediate nosedive? Curious to see if anyone has actually done this.
RE: Riding Backwards for Even Tire Wear on the Plus
@clevemont I've read a while ago that someone tried it but it's not meant to go as fast backwards as it is forwards, because of the placement of the sensor so there's a big chance of the motor shutting off on you and sending you flying.
That's enough of a warning for me! Thanks Chalo.
Riding Backwards for Even Tire Wear on the Plus
A brief search didn't yield any topics on this matter. Was curious to see how many folks actually do this. If it wasn't clear, by backwards I mean that sensor would be on the trailing foot, not the front. I hadn't thought to do this but saw a Reddit comment on it, however, I think it was for a v1 board and not the Plus.
