    • RE: Concave foot pads.

@kcgill1982 Yes. The different options have different levels of concavity. I personally have the Float Life Kush footpad, and it has been a great enhancement. Depending on how much concave you want will change which product you want.

I really wish there was an easier way to get a concave front footpad.

    • RE: XR - thrown from board after pushback

@Glyph Beautifully said. Fangs aren't for my riding style, but I can see the use for them.

    • RE: Cold weather riding

@Panglossian Just don't keep it in the car. You should have received a error message in the form of blinks around the power button. It would let you know the board was too cold. Basically, you'll need to start the board warm before going outside.

    • RE: Do not ride at high speed!

@Glyph @causticgrip The onewheel doesn't have normal brakes, so it has to use regenerative braking. When it does that, it has to store the power somewhere. If it doesn't it could overheat. This means you either just have to not be at 100% when going down a hill, or your board overheats and shuts off anyway. Either way the board would shutoff eventually.

The difference between the charger and regenerative braking is the charger just stops producing power. Whereas the regenerative braking continues to generate power because the rider decides to keep going down a hill.

Top speed =/= cruising speed. FM advertises the onewheel can hit 19mph. Not that it can sustain 19mph or that it's safe to do so.

A safe speed for cars is a lot less than their top speed. Same with a onewheel, for safe operation you should't be going near the top speed.

    • RE: Anyone get the XR Hypercharger?

@SSusanoo Well, if it takes longer than an hour they'd have a law suit on their hands. If I had to guess, I'd put it around 50minutes for 0%-100%. That allows some wiggle room so that they don't fall past that hour mark.

    • RE: Got my Onewheel 2 weeks ago. I just decked it out. All the tape work was done by hand. Nothing came prefabbed but the rail guards. Opinions and comments are welcome. I named mine, “RîG*VICîOUS” (Now I gotta learn to ride the thing)

@causticgrip That's really awesome! I've been wanting to do something similar to mine for a while now. Just need to find some colors I like.

What tape did you use for this?

@Alex-Ciobanu Send the serial number to FM and if it ever gets registered again, they'll know it's stolen.

@mariocontino Weather near me hasn't been the best, so I haven't tried it since Gemini came out. I hadn't heard the dev stopped, but that doesn't surprise me for a third party developer.
