@Nick-Sabs I have had luck with The treaded Hoosier 11x6.5x6, D30 compound. My first one lasted 1990 miles. I'm on my second one now. Zero complaints with it.
I got it at Smiley's racing.
Super sweet girlfriend, no kids, I ride a lot. You can find me between College Park and Sodo since I ride ride back and forth to the gym about 20 days a month, 10 miles plus, usually Orange Ave. or Magnolia. I'm a firefighter so I take my board to work and ride at the station while I'm on shift. Orange County Station 36, Winter Garden Vineland Rd. B shift. About 5-7 miles at work. What else? Oh I like Kentucky Bourbon and Red Bull TV...

Ride like you're escaping from Hell, lol

@krisusan I would also like to know more about the V1 bearings. Does anyone have sizes or have a video of someone who has changed V1 bearings?
@zakplm You need a Hoosier 11x6.5x6 D30A compound from Smiley's racing or go with the one Craft&Ride has but I think theirs is 11x6x6, not sure about the hardness though.
I got 1990 miles off mine which I why I bought it again. Hope this helps. Ride on...
So I was riding at work and my friend took a video of me riding so I decided to tag Adam Savage on Twitter from Mythbusters since he loves his Onewheel and then he retweeted it and now it has wings . Nothing super technical, just having fun. Man, I would love to ride with him.

I'll throw another idea out there for you. Start your Onewheel journey by switching stances from time to time and you will learn both ways. Great for tricks as well.
I know I can't but if your son hits anything at that speed, In my line of work, we call that a "Trauma Alert" or a "Code".
Here is my new rear foot pad. I still have a little more to do to it. Its almost an inch longer with a tapered tail and a 1/2 inch wider. I have another idea to possibly add some weight to the tail by screwing some lead to the underside so when at speed, it woulld take a little more front foot pressure to accelerate. I believe I would actually see higher cruising and top speeds as a result.
Edit: I have also added 1/2 inch orange rubber gasket under the deck with gorilla glue spray adhesive.
Pete, please get the Sumo suit and get someone to video your ride. I want to see it, lol
On a more serious note, as others have said, there are limits to all three versions of our board. I have nose dived several times because it was my fault, being careless. It's about learning your board, your riding stance and getting to your top comfort speed, if that makes sense. Having a heavy front foot will surely result in nosedives. It's that teetor totter foot pressure that people need to work on. If you want fangs for piece of mind, go for it. I don't see a need for them. I just made a rear foot pad the other day out of wood with about an inch and a half more length, sort of like the "Craft and Ride" deck. I am getting a better stance and higher cruising speed as a result.
The screws are 1/2 inch #10- 32 stainless hex screws. I know this because I just made a custom rear deck and swapped them out at Home Depot. Get them online, should be pretty cheap too. Don't buy over priced screws. Should only cost a couple bucks.
I just logged in after a long hiatus from the forum and I see this. That is one heck of an upgrade right there. I may consider this in the near future. Good work!
