I was having a hard time turning in the direction of my heels when I first started as well. What helped for me before doing any tight turns was to do sweeping wide turns in both directions. I had to get out on a paved road/trail to do this because my driveway definitely wasn't big enough. Once I got used to pushing down with my heels, I started doing the tighter turns. But like everyone said, it's all about practice.

RE: Pint does not engage
Using just your hands on both front and back pads with both pressure sensors engaged on front, does the motor engage consistently when you tilt the board to level?

RE: Pint Bluetooth issues?
I got an official response from Onewheel today:
With the connection, ensure you connect to the app prior to beginning your ride. Strength will vary per phone. To utilize most app features, you should be at a stop and have the phone close or on top of your front footpad. Ensure you don't have 3rd party accessories that could prevent strength connectivity, such as magnets and thick cases. - Have the latest firmware & operating system - Make sure your phone is not connected to any other BT devices. If your connection goes in and out during the course of your ride, not to worry, your miles will still be logged. If you're having issues with connection, your board's lightbar will help you with battery levels when you slow down/stop: White = Fully charged Yellow = Battery approaching low levels Red = It's time to recharge Let us know if you have any other questions/concerns and we'll be glad to help.

RE: Is Pint Pushback Really Rockback? It Seems to Tilt Back Aggressively!
I seem to get mild pushback at 14.4mph consistently. I've had it at 13.9 once, probably because I was accelerating harder. At the lower speeds the pushback is pretty modest. It almost feels "natural." I notice it and immediately let pressure off of my front foot instinctively. The first few times it happened, I thought I had shifted my weight and was slowing down because of it, but it had just been an instant reaction to lift my foot a bit once the board started leaning.
I haven't pushed my board past 14.6 yet. I only have about 40 miles and I don't want to play chicken with my board. The top speed is advertised at 16mph so I am assuming I could push through it a bit, but I've seen enough stories of people pushing through it and then nosediving to make me very cautious.
I honestly would love to see a chart of battery current, effective voltage in relation to max in the app so I could know if I was getting close to that max. Knowing the basics of how electric motors work, the higher the current or effective voltage, the harder the motor works.

RE: Onewheel Pint | Pushback
Definitely experienced pushback this morning. My persistent bluetooth issues prevented me from seeing my current speed at the time. However my board's top speed now shows up at 14.4mph.

RE: Pint Bluetooth issues?
I lose connection to my Pint even when it is just sitting next to me. This is with the app open. It will sometimes disconnect every few seconds.

RE: Pint charging port cover DIY
Just tried the $1 rubber stopper and it seems to fit very snugly! If FM ever does free shipping, I'll buy a couple of their plugs, but the shipping makes me cringe for a $2 part. I'm too used to "free" Amazon shipping.

Preparing for your fall
OK, I've had my Onewheel Pint for 5 days now and it's been awesome. However, I've already gotten beat up. I did a faceplant on day 2, but I came out just fine since I had wrist guards, and a helmet. This experience made me realize that before I continue to practice riding, I need to practice bailing and falling. I have been practicing dumping the board and running. I also want to practice rolling on a fall. Are there any good videos or tutorials out there that even someone that hasn't done board sports could follow? Like I want to progress from standing and rolling to controlled bailing and rolling to emergency bailing practice if that makes sense....
