RE: Petition to open up shaping modes to the community
Yes! This is a great idea. I can't stand not knowing how my OW will perform day to day - which really takes away from the joy of riding.

@No And for that price you could get two Alva pool decks (beautiful maple) with change $.

@Snurfer Most decks are flat between the truck mounts. You can search SoCal skateboards website for decks 10"+ Pool decks work best width wise. I used standard 1"-1.25" skateboard hardware screws to mount the board where the fenders would mount and the holes next to those. Hand tighten - you don't want to strip the holes. Use a cardboard template to make sure the main hole clears the tire all around.
I got the neoprene on Amazon - search for 1/4" adhesive neoprene. I just made a small 'X' cut in the neoprene and pushed the sensor plug through it and connected it from the plastic panel underneath the ow. I did route a slot similar to the existing footpads for the sensor wire under the new deck. Make sure you test it before and after you cover it with grip tape.
Hope that helps :) -

@J-Glide Thanks. I'm going to upgrade my V2... if I ever get it. I'd really like to have other OWers try out these boards to see what they think.

@Snurfer Thanks. The neoprene is adhesive backed and like a wetsuit. I rode in the rain, got lots of water and worm guts all over the board - brushed it off no problems.

I modified an old school deck and a pool deck and mounted them on Onewheels. The pool deck is 11.25" x 34" the smaller one is 10" x 33". I used 1/4" neoprene underneath the boards and skid rails under the sides. I wanted the feel of a concave board front and back and on the sides. I'm not much of a wood worker - so I tried this and love the feel and control. One rides like a big power boat and the other (hoosier) rides like a jet ski.
11 x 34 deck / Vega
10 x 33 deck / Hoosier

@gbones2692 I don't have mine yet but on the OW website picture shows 11.5 x 6.5 - 6 on the tire.
