Is the battery box held in place by the top 2 rear footpad screws near the wheel? I know the bottom ones thread into it but can't work out if the footpad screws also thread into it from the top.

RE: Got hit by a car yesterday.. need advice for getting tire back on rim?
Thanks for the kind words.. filling it with 80-90 psi did the trick!.. thank you all for the advice.. I didn't think to try a higher psi out of fear of damaging the tire.

Got hit by a car yesterday.. need advice for getting tire back on rim?
Long story short I got mowed down yesterday by a distracted driver(hit and run).. I'm banged up pretty good but my board got the worse.. it ended up pined between the ground and the cars tire.. board is scraped up even more then it was.. foot pads are shredded to shit and need to be replaced but what I'm really struggling with is reseating the tire back on the motor.. it got pushed inward partly on one side.. it still holds air just fine but I don't want to damage it trying to fix it with a flat head.. its on properly except for a small part of it that was pushed in from the weight of the car.. there doesn't seem to be any damage to the motor/rim.. I have since turned it back on and tested it on a bench and it works just fine but am struggling with the tire.
any tips for getting it back on properly would be greatly appreciated!

RE: Android 8 issues
@louman73 I also have a pixel XL and recently updated to Android O and have had no luck with connecting since(every other bluetooth device I own connects fine)..
I'm a hardcore Android user and finally had to break down and aquire an old iPhone 5c for free from a relative as I depend on my OW+ heavily to get around as I have no car.. it works flawlessly go figure..I hope they get this sorted soon as I'm not happy having to remember to carry and charge 2 phones everytime I go out.. they need to stop treating us Android users like second class.

RE: Order #'s of Problem Boards
@sfctac Yes I sent my board in as the noise got louder and you could feel something rubbing with each tire rotation while leaning to the left.. they said some part was rubbing against the bearing so they replaced the part and it took care of the noise.. it took a little over 3 weeks for me to get my board back which includes the round trip ground shipping to the Midwest.
Everything was great for a month after I got it back then it once again started making the same noise in the same direction.. it's not as loud/bad as before but it is there and you definitely notice it on really tight left turns.. it has not gotten any worse and I don't notice it most rides.. I've since put on an additional 700 miles and everything is still working fine.
A second noise that sounded like a squeaking sound developed after the Andromeda update which would happen regardless of direction of travel with every tire rotation.. that noise has since worked its self out and it no longer does it.
I'm getting ready to send it in for repair again + a tire change as I have already worn thru the sides of the tire after 1,100 miles.. I'm 215 lbs and ride my OW+ pretty hard on a daily basis.. I've just been putting it off for as long as I can.
I watched your video and that definitely sounds worse then what I had going on.. I'd definitely send it in for peace of mind.. they are pretty good about warranty service so I wouldn't worry.. just be prepared to be without it for a few weeks depending on where you live.

RE: Range onewheel+
@celebro that's impressive!.. you must be light weight and ride a high tire psi.. that's definitely not typical.. FM's stated range of 5-7miles is pretty spot on for "most" riders.
-
RE: Range onewheel+
@groovyruvy yes that's on mostly flat street/sidewalk cruising @ 15-16mph.. there is no hills or off road trails of any kind near me.. I started off only getting around 5 miles per charge on mission but over time it has increased to 6.5 miles.. what's odd is once I hit 1% I'm still able to ride for another mile or so.. it always says I regen over 20% battery each ride.. I'm definitely not complaining.
-
RE: Range onewheel+
@cyberpan I'm regularly hitting 6.5 miles on mission and 6.0 miles on new delirium shaping per charge post FW update.. I'm 210lbs and ride @ 20psi.
@sonny123 that has been my experience with the plus.. I started off getting around 5 miles per charge on mission out of box and now I just hit 800 miles on my plus and the range has increased by over a mile since.. the most I have gone is 6.8 miles on a charge.

RE: Tried Delirium yet?
@roundel The range for me for Delirium is at 6.0-6.2 miles and for Mission I'm getting 6.5-6.7 miles per charge.. I'm 210lbs and ride @ 20psi.. prior to FW update I was getting close to 7 miles per charge on mission so not much of a difference in range in my experience.
I'm loving the new FW all around.. the improved bump/drop handling alone makes it worth the update.. the 2 new modes is just a bonus.. Delirium is the missing link for riding my local area.. with all the bumps/dips and crappy old concrete side walks w/ no bike lanes it handles like a champ now.. mission shaping for everything else.

RE: Email support
@mekhi_dickson lol did you try calling them? Might get somewhere if email isn't working out.. and I'm assuming your talking about those mini OW enamel pins? I never seen those for sale but they were handed out on occasion as a promotional thing or along with other merch such as a hat or t-shirt to people when mistakes occurred as a "sorry we fucked up but here's some extra free shit in your box".. let us know if you have any luck.
