@TheONEinMN ouch. I got burned bad on the OW+, for the XR, they actually had a quick turnaround (I piggybacked on the OW+ support ticket) and fixed it quickly with no charges. Not sure what it was, but the XR board was completely dead. Still, confidence in these boards - and support - took a bit of a hit.

Same amount of nosedives on XR vs OW+. I've ridden so long I can usually run them out or regain control. They usually happen when going uphill and hit some hole in the road, just not enough power to get over 'em. OW+ I rode almost always in Mission, for XR, it's almost all Delerium.
Also, by far, most falls are from washouts - slipping on gravel, stuff like that, from losing traction...

San Francisco OW Riders
I've put in plenty of miles throughout GG park, found really good trails - if any are in the area and want to get together to ride let me know. Mt Sutro Forest, bit on the wild side, but good trails to be had there as well. My poor mountain bike has been moved to storage...

Ugh. That sucks. My XR just shut off today, luckily it was on grass and I was able to run it out. But now, it won't turn on at all. I plugged it in, it looked like it was getting charged (orange) then turned to green after a bit. Still, no power, doesn't start, completely off. Not even 100 miles on this board.
Worse is the OW+ is in the FM shop, having to pay $500 even under warranty for water damage - not sure how, but, OK. The original OW was solid. And going to have to deal with support, again, which will take a month just to get a response.
Frustrating stuff.

Support did get back to me, took... 16 days :), with an apology and that they are backed up a bit. Thanks for the calling suggestion, hopefully these boards are so solid that I won't need support again.

@sc720 Not completely true, maybe the new ones, but I have the original OW stand from 2? years ago, it doesn't fit the OW+. Good to hear they modified it but FM did it transparently, now I have to figure out how to modify it to work with the OW+ frame.

Anyone else getting crickets from FM support?
OW+ me thinks has a faulty BMS, blinks once, turns off. Tried all the fixes I could find, nothing. Reached out to support@onewheel.com. Got the "Thanks for emailing Future Motion // Onewheel.
A support representative will be reviewing your request and will send you a personal response. (usually within 24 hours)."15 days now, no response, still in the processed state. Reached out a few times, even on twitter, nada.
This is a bit disappointing, big fan, bought quite a few of these, gifts, spread the good word ... and really expected better. But eh. Got the XR, and that is amazing af. OW+ I guess will just wait for support until it goes out of warranty, well played FM.

For OW+ I was mostly mission, even off-road, delirium was just a bit too loose. For XR it's all delirium.

Same thing started happening to my OW+ board. Tried all these methods, still doesn't stay on.
What gets me the worst about this is OW technical support. I sent this info and logged a ticket, and it has been over 5 days with no reply or anything, other than being in the "processing state". For what we pay, and I've paid plenty - bought all boards, gifted OW boards, brought in plenty of business to FM, I would of expected faster service. Anyhow, sorry for using this as a pedestal for my rant, hopefully you got your board fixed by now.
