I have a V1 that I’ve had since the beginning. It runs great. It has 500 miles on it(mostly asphalt), and a new bumper. I’m looking to upgrade to a pint and would like to sell this first. I think $500 is a fair price and I will pay shipping.

RE: The next level is here
So I'm stewing a little right now. We early adapters are one of the main reasons this board is so popular. We are the free advertising FM has benefited from this past year. I sent them an email inquiring if there might be any consideration for purchasers of V1. I'm not expecting much. I would consider buying V2 for $1500 if I could get a reasonable price on the sale of my V1. Anyone else feel like I do?

RE: Ready to Ride! It has been too long.... What is your favorite place to OW?
Just started doing some narrow hiking trails with vertical in the Sourland mountains of New Jersey. It's fun to have more challenging terrain to conquer. Just keep a close eye on large tree roots and be ready to run it out.

RE: NoseDive - Actual concern or Overhyped?
Having dosedived many times the first few weeks (with some serious road rash) I'm convinced that nosedive occurs because of the way the rider rides it and not the board. With proper weight distribution, foot position and bent knees, I haven't fallen in months. I listen carefully to the motor. If I hear a sudden speeding up, then I know a nosedive is next. Get the Onewheel.

RE: Carving tips part 2
Try carving on Classic mode for a bit. The turns are easier. Just don't try straight and fast or you will nose dive quickly. It's all heels and toes with a bit of mid-core. There's no back foot kick-out on a Onewheel.

RE: Worth the investment ?
Zero regrets. Nada. Nil. I ride it every day to and from work. I ride on a dirt canal path, the beach, hiking trails, grass, asphalt. I'm 47 and I feel like a teenager when I'm on my board. Learning curve is steep if you have good balance or if you've snowboarded. That being said, you will fall. You will get hurt. It's a little like being thrown out of a moving car at first. Just get the best protection you can and you should pick it up in no time. I feel very confident on it now, but I am always taking proper precautions and minimize the risk of falling the best I can. Go for it and good luck!

RE: Jersey shore beach ride
Took my Onewheel onto the beach for the first time this weekend. Low tide in Longport. It is as amazing as they say it is. So smooth. Lots of onlookers and was stopped by many people asking about it. Put tape over the port and on/off button. It got totally caked with sand but I hosed it off and it was as good as new.

RE: Accident log
Still haven't mastered "running it out" as opposed to my usual face plant. Any tips? Does being 47 have anything to do with it?
