To carry the 25 pounds of my Onewheel ( dead battery and far from home, in shopping centers, etc. ) my arms and my back do not support it any more. So I imagined a simple, efficient and especially "effortless" system to carry my Onewheel. Here is a video, which explains the transportation system.
Aloha!

@eelhc
You will never regret, believe me.
I bought mine 4 weeks ago and I am totally addicted to my OW.
Like you, expect skiers ( used to spent 6 weeks/years in French Alpes in the last 25 years)
Use to live in Canada, and now I live in Hawaii ( French alpes are to far now ) I am 52, very active ( tennis, roller blades, biking, surfing etc. )
But with the Onewheel you get the best of the both worlds: no ski lift ticket, no waiting lines, no waiting for the waves..........just ride your OW and carve the roads endlessly. Recharge ( 35 min ) and go again for a 9 miles ride ( pressure 20 psi )
Chances that Your ski will stay in the closet next year!
Myself, I don't miss skiing and surfing the OW make the job even better.
On my OnewheelBuddy, I have get this information when the battery was almost death.
Distance/ Trip: 14.9 km ( 9.26 miles )
It is fabulous!
I just have my new Onewheel for 2 weeks now, and I regularly make 14 km and plus with one charge. Two times, I have made 14.9km ( 9.26 miles )
I don't go straight line ( zigzag), so I cannot mesure with iPhone Map or other devices.
I drive my Onewheel on ~~strikethrough text~~Flat and hard roads, extreme mode, Hawaii temperatures, 170 pounds.
Is the Onewheel odometer accurate?
Pressure 17 to 19psi ( it loses pressure with time during the week)
I inflate at 19 and 4 to 5 days later it could be between 14 to 16psi.
At higher pressure ( 19 psi ), the OW is very responsive and quick to react.
Tonight, I had to stop before the battery die because is was to dark on the parks. I was about to beat the range of 14.9 km.
Tonight's Onewheelbuddy data:
Distance/trip: 13.0 km
% battery remaining 36%
Consumption:111%
Régénération: 11%
Top speed: 28.5 km/hr
Aloha!
What do you mean by: is incredible to me!
What pressure do you have in your tire?
Have you ever try more than 22 psi? What is the feeling?
Norm.
@eelhc A lot of hope for your Onewheel career.
I am 52 and my background looks like your background.
After three weeks , with my new Onewheel, I dicided to make a video around my place in Hawaii.
You can see it on YouTube: https://youtu.be/eHE310NQtEE
Hello @laneeric
I have done exactly what you did ( I forced to completely drop to zero the batteries). It reset the odometer to zero. But, more important: Now, the battery % shows in the app. is accurate.
Thank you for sharing your goods ideas.
@jeffmccosker
Impressive skill, no broken bones?
@ashewheeler
What's the purpose of this handle?
Make jumps and figures acrobatics or is it to carry the Onewheel?
