    • RE: + wobbles on concrete

@thegreck maybe you missed this part:
Edit: this is also exaggerated just to make what I am saying clear.. For the normal tire pressure side, your tire is probably under-inflated if this much of the tire is actually touching in a tight turn. You are just trying to avoid the high tire pressure extreme.

I ride at 19psi because that is were the tire does not do what I illustrated on the left...

This is what I have learned... If you try to turn and you can feel the wheel go onto one of the edges, lower the pressure little by little until that does not happen. You will thank me if you do as the ride will be so much smoother. This will be dependent on your weight a little. I am 195lbs and for me its pretty much right at 19psi on my Onewheel +. This will allow more of the tire to be in contact with the road as you turn and stop the wobble if its the tire pressure that is causing it.

I made a very quick little illustration of what I mean:

    • RE: Portable 56 VDC EGO Battery Charger Project

@LidPhones if this works, I did see the bare battery and BMS for the 7.5 ah battery configuration on one of the Chinese sites somewhere. Samsung cells too. http://www.globalsources.com/gsol/I/Lithium-ion-battery/p/sm/1145347243.htm#1145347243

@LidPhones I have not gotten that far yet. I have some learning to do and I just got started with gathering sources. Finding online calculators that get me close, but knowing that i need to understand the math myself. I am brand new to both the idea of DYI and electronics. My only experience is building a guitar pedal from a kit so far ;) Total newbie at this point. I do have the mower and battery though.

    • RE: skateboard that can compete with the onewheel

@dakota4ce this is the only board that is really an option if you factor in durability except that the durability is up to the builder not the board. I have the Bamboo GT and I LOVE it, but if I ever get another electric skate I will look into one of these first.

Hey LidPhones, since you know so much about this, would that 7.5 ah battery be better? I was wondering if it could be used to power a trampa electric skate at one point too. Keep its form factor and just snap it in and out of a water proof/resistant case. It powers a 21 inch self propelled lawn mower for close to an hour through some st Augustine grass. Charges in 45 minutes with the quick charger. http://www.homedepot.com/p/EGO-56-Volt-7-5-Ah-Battery-BA4200/205983345
