    • Onewheel Photoshoot Thread...

I didn't see this type of thread on here yet...

In my opinion, these Onewheels are such beautiful machines that I think there should be a thread where we post our favorite photos from our ride...

Yesterday I took my V1 out for a ride on the boardwalk between Mission Beach and Pacific Beach in SoCal. It was a perfect evening to put some miles on her!

Let's see your favorite shot in the environment where you ride!

You know those times when you get to the end of the day and you just need to relieve a little bit of life's stress... well this was how I handled it today.

I took my other V1 out for a sunset cruise. It was perfect!

Another amazing ride (and sunset) last night! No winter gear needed out here in SoCal šŸ˜Ž

Nice pics, I was there last week, rode theXR at the beach at Oceanside but neglected to take pics; we were having fish n chips right before watching the sunset and walking back to the car saw a tall guy on a pint. betting it was you.
I believe that's my stepson over by the tower in both pics, bummed I missed you
      ![alt text]

      Hey B0ardski,
You bet... that was definitely me šŸ¤™. Im 6'5" and slender, so when on a Onewheel, I'm pretty hard to miss 🤣. Too bad we didnt have a chance to say hello and meet! Yeah, that fish and chips place is dangerous... its soooooo good! Let me know when you're back here with your OW, and we can go for a coastal ride and have a beer on my boat.
Small world tho, and I'm digging the Onewheel community. Funny that your pic and my pic were at the same place and time basically. This is my neighborhood, the harbor, and I ride out here almost daily... both the strand and harbor.

Here's an awesome shot from the other day...Screenshot_20191103-101455_Gallery.jpg

By the way, just an interesting note to all, I'm absolutely loving my Pint and now gonna sell my V1. All I do is cruise the coast, low key, and I find the Pint is perfect for that. Not sure if it's normal, but I'm easily getting a 12 mile range on a charge. I didnt expect that at all. My V1 got 10 miles, which I thought was amazing... this is even better. My normal route is around 7 miles so knowing I can do 12, or easily 10, is perfect. I'll still upgrade to the Pint XR when it comes out, eventually.

Decided to head up to Newport Beach today to spend some time riding and exploring. It was in the mid 70s and perfect out! Put 8 miles on my Pint, and still had 24% battery remaining.

This weather here in SoCal has been unreal... yes, it is extreme high wildfire risk, but 75 degrees at sunset at the beach... absolutely perfect for a ride on my V1!

While I thought it was perfect for the Onewheel, someone else thought it was perfect for night time volleyball. How cool is that?

After a couple days of decent rain around here, in SoCal, the skies have cleared and the air is super fresh. Had to get out on one of my normal 7 mile rides this evening. I took a couple of "creative" shots...
Oh, and yes... I really am that tall šŸ˜‚. 6 foot 5 inches, size 13 foot, and comfortably on a Pint! Loving my new Kush Nug rear footpad, today was my first run with it and it was a game changer.

Came back feeling all refreshed and turned on the heater, cause it's an icy 60 degrees out šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø.

Very good point... this place is getting so crowded. I was born here, 40 years ago, and I remember when the freeways were always empty. These days it's getting ridiculous and San Diego is turning into LA. If I didn't live on the coast, I wouldn't put up with it.

Here's a shot from tonight's ride. Probably 75 degrees as the sun was setting. I guess it's all a trade off when it comes to how freaking busy this area is.

Added a new OW to my fleet today šŸ˜Ž

I had 2 V1's, because I go back and forth between two homes and didn't want to have to lug those beasts every single time, and today I purchased my first Pint. I really dig the feel of it. It's definitely smoother feeling and more nimble... I'm a fan. I am having bluetooth connection issues with my Galaxy S10+, but that fortunately doesn't affect the ride at all. I'll keep looking into that.

I just did my normal ride. What an amazing day, got up to mid 60s and warm in the direct sun.
Here's a fun shot of my Pint... these places are called Robert's Cottages, and are right on the ocean. Literally under 300 square feet, and the last one offered for sale was fully renovated and asking 950k. A completely outdated one just sold for somewhere in the mid 600ks. That's over $2,000 per square foot... crazy... but if I won the lottery... šŸ˜Ž

I've been super busy and haven't been on my onewheel in probably 3 or 4 months. I was kinda nervous getting back on it today, but it was like I hadn't missed a single day. I forgot what it meant to become 100% stress free. Damn I love my Pint!

That pint looks great! And as for being a heavy older guy just learning, shoot... that's the best part of these things... old, young, short, tall, fat, skinny, anyone and everyone can float with a little practice under their belt šŸ˜Žāž–šŸ”µāž–
      Keep the pics coming!

Same for the handle... If you order a package/bundle with the maghandle pro, you get 2 handles, the normal one installed and the additional "pro" separate in it's own package.

      @lemur
      That looks like either
      A) a medical device
      or
      B) something I wouldn't want to try to explain to TSA
      🤣
That's some serious engineering right there. Nice job! I guess there isn't a car charger out yet for the Pint. I imagine Future Motion will release one soon, but basically making your own car or completely portable charger takes some skills! Props!

Very creative answer. Nice that it wasnt an issue at all! As much as I'm sure you want to, please try to refrain from riding down those long corridors and definitely stay off the moving walkways while going in the opposite direction at just the right pace to be riding in place šŸ˜‚šŸ˜ŽšŸ¤™

Sounds like a deal for somebody in SD.
I am curious what made you decide to become a pint exclusive rider. Not having ridden a pint can't say and I think I might miss the higher speed.

Hey Sponge, so it's really 2 sided for me. First is where I live, it's a long walk from the gate to my place, and I'm not allowed to ride the OW once through the gate (they don't like it and I like to stay on the good side of things)... so I carry it and as you know, the XR can get heavy. The Pint is a lot easier to take back and forth.

Second, and probably more significant... I only ride slower speed cruises, averaging about 7 miles per ride. Where I ride (by the beach) is basically 100% flat, and the Pint gets me 10 miles of range easily with those two parameters (slow and flat). I find that the Pint is fun when weaving in and out of people on busy beach boardwalks too, cause it's so nimble.

That's pretty much why. I started on a V1, loved it, but I really like the small form factor of the Pint.
