SO. MUCH. HYPE!!!!! I'm a llittle sad because I can't afford to upgrade but also stoked that the engineering team at Future Motion is so freaking LEGIT and pushing out new quality products every year. Stoked for the future!!!

RE: Bad nosedive after 100+ miles without one.
First off, I'm sorry to hear about your fall and surgery. Take it easy and heal quickly!
Second, you may not agree here but you have to realize that 100 miles is like nothing. For perspective, I do 100 miles in an average week of riding and have close to 10,000 miles on a onewheel total. In that time, yes I have nosedived, but also I've learned how to have more control over the board and avoid them. I doubt this was a board failure.
What I'm getting at here is don't be discouraged, heal up and take the time to learn the board a bit better before pushing it. I hope you decide to keep riding.
RE: FlightFins: The NEW "Safety" video you've all been waiting for.
Whoop Whoop!!! HYPE is real.
RE: Notes after the first 7 days (101 miles!)
So glad you're enjoying the board bro!! It's everything you thought it would be and more right!? The knee soreness should improve with riding more, don't sweat it. All I can add is know that on the OW+ a lot of nosedives happen when you're below 20% or accelerating uphill. Other than that, keep having fun and trying new things!! Peace man!
RE: What happened to support?
@fabuz lol that's just Jack and maybe one other person on the Marketing/Sales team. Maybe Orion. Those guys aren't responsible for figuring out all the service issues anyway.
Loving the discussion on Modular parts to reduce service time and cost. Makes sense to me. My board is in the shop mostly because of a footpad. Yup, if I had a working footpad, I would have not sent the board in for repair. Just think about that.
RE: What happened to support?
@lirou Dude I've been on here for 2 years and we've been saying this the whole time... It would be great if FM had a voice here, but I wouldn't hold your breath.
As for servicing, I've had my Plus in the shop for 2 weeks. I just sent an email to check on the servicing and get a timeline of when it should be completed. In general, support was SO much better last year, before they launched a new product and got a huge influx of new riders.
RE: I participated in a transit race across downtown Seattle during rush hour on my Onewheel+ ...and I won
Yea I saw this when FM shared it on facebook earlier, very cool dude!!! How long have you been riding onewheel? Says a lot about transportation in urban areas. Portable electric vehicles are the shit. And onewheel is probably the coolest one so far.
RE: How do you film yourself? - A selfie stick?
@yojimbo Yea dude I agree about the lower half part... it's a shame. I've seen this dude use a 360 camera while on his Eskate.. I wonder how heavy that setup is. https://www.instagram.com/p/BY9CCOOBcDK/?taken-by=esk8fr
My setup is the osmo mobile with extension pole and tripod. Then I built a mount to use a gopro with the osmo mobile. It's relatively lightweight, but still to heavy to do anything over your head.
RE: Whos got the OneWheel Plus with the most miles?!
Well I have about 200 miles on my plus because it keeps breaking. I've only really owned it for like 3 weeks time, the rest of the time it's been out being fixed. xD
That said, I did take my plus down Vail mountain while I was there.. That was pretty awesome!!!
