@ShreddieMcskate I have the Pint Ultracharger. It works as advertised.

RE: Footpad disengagement question
It's not supposed to disengage. I have trouble getting the motor to disengage with a heel lift when I'm trying to stop because it's programmed not to disengage unless you're going less than 1 mile per hour. And as the others have said you should get a warning, but that's all it should do.
RE: LMAO Everyone seen Nasa’s Black Hole visualization?
I named by board "Black Hole" because of it! :) It does look awesome!
RE: Pint under the rain
Like @RonZon, I've taken my Pint (with fender) in some light rain and it was fine. I also just slowed down a little than I normally ride. I live in Portland, OR and some of the XR owners have waterproofed their boards. They call it "badgering". Looks like the kits they are talking about are on www.badgerwheel.com, but the waterproofing kit says, "Pint hasn't been evaluated yet". I'm not sure the Pint is better sealed, or if it also needs to be waterproofed.
RE: Commuting on the Pint
@a_onekatie I'm commuting as well and had a light rain commute today too. I'm in Portland, OR so I'm expecting a lot more rainy commutes. I put some electrical tape over the power outlet hole until I get a plug. The wheel gripped fine, though I wasn't trying to push it.
My commute is 3.7 miles each way and takes just under 30 minutes. It uses about 40% of my battery and regens about 5%, so net 35% use. I think I'm getting around 11 miles of range. Though I did take air out of the tire to soften the bumps and that destroyed my range, so I put it back up to 20psi.
